Not YMMV

* {{Defictionalization}}: ''[[http://www.heraldsun.com.au/entertainment/tv-radio/stars-prepare-to-be-buried-alive/story-e6frf9ho-1226080932695 Shaft of Hope]]''.
* EditedForSyndication: When the show expanded into a two-hour format in 2007, Triple M Adelaide continued to broadcast only the first hour, with all mentions of upcoming guests in the second hour edited out.
* ExecutiveMeddling: The hosts often discussed, on-air, notes and "suggestions" the higher-ups tried to give them.
* FakeBrit: One of the funniest parts of Ooh Me Plums (Besides the whole Groin injuries in polite society thing).
** Ed often points out that Tony always sings in a fake British accent.
* FanNickname: Ricky M, Armitage Shanks, Dick Bar, Marslando Calrissian... the amount was insane (and encouraged by Ed) for Richard, here's a [[http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Richard_Marsland#The_Many_Nicknames_of_Richard_Marsland list]] (that only starts scraping the surface).
* FollowUpFailure

* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: The only way people can listen to the show nowadays, and in two forms. The podcast archive was Triple M kept online for a few years as "Get This: Richard Marsland Lives" in tribute to the late Ricky M, but it's since been taken down. There are also complete recordings of every single episode that have been floating around the internet since before the show's cancellation.
* MemeticMutation: So, so much.
* OldShame: ''Meat Pie'', for Ed.
** Tony often refers to ''Bad Eggs'', the film he directed, in this manner.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork: ''Get This'' had good ratings that were steadily climbing and had already developed a cult following, but Triple M decided to axe it anyway to make room for an expensive new show helmed by Peter Helliar and Myf Warhurst (which was cancelled after a year anyway).

* EarWorm: All of the songs sung (and then repeated ad neusem at Ed and Richard's expense).
** ''Nights in white satin, never reaaaaaaaaching the end, something or rather, something else.''
** ''The Vengabus is coming and everybody's running from north to south Ibiza, in the Mediterrainian suuuuun.''
** ''Your body is a wonderland...''
** ''Flowers, flowers drifting by the paa-aaane! In mah dreams, so sweet, flowers red, blue and piii-iink!''

One Of Us is now Just For Fun per this TRS thread. Also not a YMMV trope.

* OneOfUs: Tony, Ed and Richard, most definitely. Listen to their nerd-outs when Creator/RichardEGrant and WillArnett are the guest hosts.

** When the Beaconsfield mine disaster miniseries was finally made, it co-starred frequent ''Get This'' co-star Lachy Hume.
** The trio frequently made jokes about being too nerdy and wussy to host one of the "proper", blokier radio shows on Triple M, such as the Cage or the Grill Team. Almost a decade later, Ed Kavalee is a co-host of the Brisbane Grill Team program.

** Also, any reference Richard made to his own death. A particularly uncomfortable example is when he quipped that the "In Memoriam" segment of the 2007 Logies went on so long that he started expecting to see his own name come up. Sadly, that came true just two years later.
** Unfortunately this comes up a lot with Ricky M. The "I'm an Iced Coffee powered suicide machine" line from the Police Ten 7 sketch and Richard saying that he would like to have kids at some stage.
** Exactly 12 minutes into Podcast 52, Tony plays the sound of a heavy rain storm and taunts "How do you like that, Brisbane?" Cue the Queensland floods of 2011, where Brisbane was massively devastated.
