* FunnyMoment: Chief engineer Audrey [=McCallum=] is played by Creator/ClaudiaBlack. To a ''Franchise/DragonAge'' fan, it can be pretty funny to watch the scene in which ''[[IceQueen Morrigan]]'' talks about having stepped down from command because she cared too much about those serving under her.

** Gains an extra bit of humor when you realize that David Hasselhoff is actually ''in'' the game.

** ''Infinite Warfare'' using a whopping '''''one-hundred thirty gigabytes''''' of storage space for installation on all platforms due to the ultra high resolution textures to accommodate resolution screens (primarily 4K). Granted, the file size includes ''Modern Warfare Remastered''[[note]]Including a day-one update and multiplayer maps[[/note]], but it forces players to ensure they have available space to even play the game on their platform of choice. Compare this against other contemporary video games like ''VideoGame/TheWitcher3WildHunt'' (35 GB) or competing FirstPersonShooter ''Battlefield 1'' (50 GB, 10 GB short of ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoV''); even ''Black Ops III'' had less than half the size of ''Infinite Warfare'' (just under 60 GB).

* AnticlimaxBoss
** While some of those Settlement Defense Front officers in the Most Wanted list do put up quite a fight (such as the ones who are {{Ace Pilot}}s), many of them are no tougher than regular enemies. Players probably don't notice killing Lieutenant Andrew Hawryluk and Captain Radoslav Barkov among the {{Mook}}s killed, despite the latter having a speaking role in the side-mission he is in. However, the worst example goes to [[spoiler:Vice-Admiral Caleb Thies]], who turns into a RedShirt.

* SurprisinglySimilarStories
** The plot of ''Infinite Warfare'' is downright similar to ''Anime/AldnoahZero'': a Martian colony secedes from the Earth government, [[TheGreatOffscreenWar fights a massive war years before the story begins]] that ends in a SpaceColdWar, then utilizes a DeepCoverAgent to cause a devastating terrorist attack on a major Earth city as a prelude to invasion. Much of the Earth's military is wiped out in the initial assault and the counterattack largely relies on a single capital ship and its plucky crew using HitAndRunTactics and surgical strikes to fight back against the Martians to turn the tide of war. The major difference between both properties is ''Aldnoah Zero'' has AppliedAlienPhlebotinum and HumongousMecha.
** The plot of this game is an inverted version of ''VideoGame/{{Titanfall}}'': whereas the Earth-based "[[MegaCorp Interstellar Manufacturing Corpration]]" is a superpower enforcing citizens of the frontier planets to abide by greed-fueled leadership that ultimately sparks a rebellion with the "[[LaResistance Frontier Militia]]" (and has HumongousMecha), ''Infinite Warfare'' presents Earth as a well-meaning governing body facing rebellion from a collective of hostile frontier planets, seeking to hoard the resources that are being mined off-world for their own gain. Senior employees at Infinity Ward were kicked off the ''Call Of Duty'' team and later formed Respawn Entertainment to make ''Titanfall''; {{subtext}} ensues when you ask which game, and which studio, posits the larger, more established political power as the good guys.
** The [=UNSA/SDF=] comparisons to the [[Franchise/{{Gundam}} Earth Federation/Principality of Zeon]] (see FanNickname) are not lost on many players.

Noticed a grammatical error in the rewrite itself. Either way, let's push any changes wanted for this on the associated cleanup thread so it can be made consistent with the locked, main Call Of Duty page.

* GoddamnedBats: Skelters. They're small, lightly armed, and easy to shoot down ''if you can catch up to them''. They tend to appear in swarms, have AI ranging from good to good enough to be bad (in the case of Aces, who likely for this reason only appear one at a time), and are as fast as or faster than you. Individually they're harmless. If there are even two or three, though, they can draw attention away from a Destroyer the size of a city block.
