Moving tropes from the Lucha Underground character pages.

Added DiffLines:

* CallBack: His confrontation with Vampiro during the Prince Puma interview. Vampiro and Konnan were archenemies for ''years'', and old habits die hard.

Added DiffLines:

* HandicappedBadass: The years of bumps and bloodshed were not kind to Konnan, and he walked with a cane. Mess with him, however, and he wouldn't hesitate to break that cane on your head.

Added DiffLines:

* LivingLegend: Konnan accomplished more in his tenure as a wrestler than countless other guys, and he used that knowledge to mentor Puma the best he could.

Added DiffLines:

* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Turned out that bringing Hernandez in on Lucha Underground was a big mistake, cause he was soon gunning for Puma's title, having betrayed them both.

Added DiffLines:

* OnceDoneNeverForgotten: While Konnan showed complete sincerity in claiming to have only Puma's best interests in mind, Vampiro insisted at every opportunity on accusing him of [[TheCorrupter wanting to corrupt Puma]] and [[TheSvengali only using him for his own gain.]] Oh, [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking and of being ugly.]]

Added DiffLines:

* RetiredBadass: Retired from active wrestling; instead, he mentored a new-generation luchador in Lucha Underground.

Added DiffLines:

* TheSmartGuy: He served as the voice of reason and strategy for Prince Puma.

Added DiffLines:

* TheStrategist: He even cited [[Literature/TheArtOfWarSunTzu Sun Tzu]] when discussing how to be deceptive.

Added DiffLines:

* WeaponOfChoice: Anyone who messed with him would have that cane of his flying towards their noggin faster than you can say "Orale!"

Nice Hat is now a disambiguation page.

* NiceHat: The little crusher hat he sometimes wears, as seen in the page image. He had a giant "sombrero" in WWC.

* FingerlessGloves: When he was Konnan el Barbaro. In this case they contributed to his overall gaudy look.

As usual, you can find the basics about his career at [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konnan That Other Wiki]].

* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: "Toss my salad and peel my potatoes!" was often part of his weekly promos in WCW. Because the first half of the phrase is a popular euphemism for a sexual act, he added the second part to make it seem like a generic food analogy.

* TheCastShowOff: Recorded a rap album in his early days and several raps for WCW and TNA. The fact he did the LAX theme allowed Homicide to take it to ROH(though they mixed it up a little anyway)
* CarpetOfVirility: He's not excessively hair but after seeing him for so many years with shirts and or chest concealing ring gear, his chest hair caused some to double take.

* AlternateCompanyEquivalent: The Mexican regional equivalent to Wrestling/HulkHogan, but ''only'' during Hogan's "Hollywood" and nWo phase. Both were color baby face heavyweight champions of what was arguably the top promotion of its nation who left and helped a newer rival surpass the older company, both going "[[GangBangers gangsta]]" in the process. Konnan's baby face run in EMLL was completely unlike pre nWo Hogan however. The closest thing Mexico had to that was El Canek. And both El Canek and Konnan had most of their act down before Hogan got his together, but enjoyed enough longevity for them to interact with him when he was acting the most like them.
