''Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans'' is a 2019 animated DirectToVideo IntraFranchiseCrossover film between the television series ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo'' and ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans''. The film first debuted at San Diego Comic-Con on July 21, 2019. It was later released digitally on September 24, 2019, followed by a DVD and Blu-ray release on October 15, 2019. When the two animated incarnations of the Teen Titans are seemingly summoned by a new [[Recap/TeenTitansS2E9WinnerTakeAll Master of Games]] in order to judge which version of the team is superior one and decide the fate of their worlds, they soon discover the contest was fabricated by the 2013 iteration of Trigon, who uses his daughter's recent PowerIncontinence in order to resurrect his 2003 counterpart. After the two Trigons kidnap both Ravens in order to sap their energy, the two teams must set aside their differences in order to rescue their friends and prevent the demons from using their newfound power to conquer the multiverse.

* AdaptationalJerkass: Contrasting his role as the serious, responsible leader from the original series, 2003 Robin is shown to enjoy teasing the 2013 Titans, calling them "Baby Titans" and repeatedly taunting the other Robin during their fight. He is the only one to [[spoiler:not show any genuine respect for his alternate self at the end of the movie, calling 2013 Robin weird and annoying and saying he needs several more years of training before becoming a true hero]].

* AllianceOfAlternates: The entire premise of this crossover is of the 2003 Teen Titans joining forces with the 2013 Teen Titans, and later of ''every'' version of the Titans in the multiverse[[note]]Except the live-action ''Series/{{Titans}}'', darn it[[/note]].

* AnachronismStew: One of the worlds visited by the Titans teams, first seen in the ''TTG!'' episode "Classic Titans", resembles the animation style of the 1960s Creator/{{Filmation}} DC Comics cartoons. However, while there ''was'' a Titans cartoon at that time, it used the original line up (Speedy, Kid Flash, Aqualad and Wonder Girl -- [[ScrewedByTheLawyers Robin couldn't appear as Filmation didn't have the Batman license at the time]]). Beast Boy wouldn't be a Titan until the creation of Titans West and Starfire, Raven and Cyborg wouldn't appear until the 80s.

* ButtMonkey: 2013 Robin, as usual. He's possessed by Gentleman Ghost and beaten to a pulp by his own friends; has his [=VR=] training session hijacked by the other Titans so they can humiliate him; is on the receiving end of a CurbStompBattle with 2003 Robin; and suffers a painful crash to the ground when the Titans are falling from the sky and don't bother flying him to safety. The humiliation only gets worse from there, as everybody, including his own teammates, repeatedly tells to his face that he is nothing but a joke when compared to his 2003 self. During the film's conclusion, [[spoiler:he ultimately fails to earn the other Robin's respect and is given a passive-aggressive TheReasonYouSuckSpeech as they return to their respective dimensions]].

** Both [[Franchise/{{Superman}} Mr. Mxyzptlk]] and Franchise/GreenLantern/Hal Jordan can be seen imprisoned in cages in the Trigons' lair. Given the former resembles the Franchise/DCAnimatedUniverse version and the film features the multiverse, it isn't hard to believe that is the same character. [[spoiler: ''ComicBook/SupermanReborn'' reveals that all versions of Mxyzptlk are simply the comic version visiting other realities.]]

* TheDragon: Even though it's supposed to be a BigBadDuumvirate, 2013 Trigon puts himself in this position to his 2003 self. [[spoiler: At least until [[RageBreakingPoint he's had enough]] and [[FusionDance absorbs him.]]]]

* FateWorseThanDeath: [[spoiler:After Hexagon is defeated, 2003 Trigon loses his corporeal form while 2013 Trigon is sent to a dimension where everyone is a zombie... [[UpToEleven including ''himself''.]]]]

* MediumAwareness: 2003 Raven's reason for having 2013 Raven [[spoiler:eat the other Ravens to gain their power]] is "my mouth won't animate that big."

* MyGodYouAreSerious: 2003 Cyborg is shocked that the 2013 Titans were serious about getting a Worlogog from Santa, who's a recurring antagonist in ''Go!''

** The male members of 2003 and 2013 Titans do not get along at first but slowly bond. The Robins especially do not like each other, more on 2003 Robin's part than 2013's, being put off by his personality, and [[spoiler:are the only members of either teams to not show respect towards each other when they part ways]].

* NotSoDifferent: As annoying as 2013 Robin is, it was actually his 2003 self who started making fun of the ''Go!'' Titans by calling them baby versions of the 2003 Titans and made several negative comments about 2013 Robin's height and appearance before actually trying to team up with his counterpart. While it is unlikely that 2013 Robin would have even listened to 2003 Robin even if the latter had been polite, it still proves that the two Robins are more similar than either would like to admit. His backhanded compliments at the end of the film are also proof of this and there are some moments that suggest the 2013 version was willing to put their dislike for each other in the past.

** Both [[Franchise/{{Superman}} Mr. Mxyzptlk]] and Franchise/GreenLantern/Hal Jordan can be seen imprisoned in cages in the Trigons' lair.

* NotSoDifferent: Both Robins show jealousy when their Starfires find the Animated Movie Universe Dick Grayson more handsome. Though 2003 is more discrete about it. It is the ONLY thing they actually agree on in the movie.

From planning and executing 2003 Triton's resurrection by draining 2013 Raven's powers to finding the Ravens after their escape, and [[spoiler: absorbing his counterpart to become [[OnWingedAngel Hexagon]] and even then his personality remains after the fusion.]] He's the most active threat that both Titans from 2003 and 2013 face.

* FateWorseThanDeath: After [[spoiler:Hexagon is defeated, 2003 Trigon is sent to loses his corporeal form while 2013 Trigon is sent to a dimension where ''everyone'' is a zombie.]]

* BackportedDevelopment: Much like the Franchise/{{DCAU}} Batman in ''WesternAnimation/JusticeLeagueVsTheFatalFive'', the '03 Robin is seen at one point using a glider cape similar to the one used by Bats in ''Film/TheDarkKnightTrilogy'' and the whole Batfamily (sans Dick as Nightwing) in the ''VideoGame/BatmanrkhamSeries''.

* AdaptationalJerkass: Sure, 2013 Robin does not act any better, but 2003 Robin does not even acknowledge his skills during the final battle and is the only one to [[spoiler:not respect 2013 Robin at the end]]. Not only that, he calls the 2013 Titans "Baby Titans" and repeatedly taunts 2013 Robin during their fight.

** The Go! versions of the Titans ask their '03 counterparts if steampunk and mermaid versions of the Titans exist within the multiverse. Despite the latter saying no, they do end up encountering them.
** When the 2013 Trigon tries to convince his Raven to join him, he tells her to abandon the humans, alien and whatever Robin is, he assumes a wombat. When the ''Go!'' Titans are leaving, ''Go!'' Starfire says she'll miss the 2003 Starfire due to being the only alien on a team of humans and whatever Robin is. She assumes the answer is wombat.

* ForgotAboutHisPowers: When the two teams fall out of the sky, the 2013 team panics and flails around, while the 2003 team sighs and flies to safety (2003 Robin uses his cape as a glider). Upon seeing this, the 2013 team remembers they can fly and do so, except for 2013 Robin who crashes painfully into the ground.

* NothingIsTheSameAnymore: After both universes' Trigons absorb 2013 Raven's demon with the goal of dominating the multiverse, she absorbs the power of dozens of alternate universe Ravens to reclaim it from them. Once reabsorbing it, she speaks with it in her [[MentalWorld mind]], apologizing for how she's spent her entire life fearing it and keeping it imprisoned. They agree to share her powers equally, [[SplitPersonalityMerge permanently merging]], and from then on the gem is absent from her head. This is probably [[StatusQuoIsGod the main reason]] why the movie isn't considered canon by the crew.

* NotSoHarmlessVillain: The 2013 Trigon is generally much laxer and nicer than the 2003 Trigon which makes it a shock when [[spoiler:the 2013 Trigon forcibly absorbs the 2003 Trigon when he's had enough of the 2003 version mocking him.]]

* PoorCommunicationKills: The Master of Games [[spoiler:(2013 Trigon)]] tells the 2013 Titans that the battle is to see who is the best team, while the 2003 Titans are told that their world would be destroyed. Neither of them know this which is the main reason why the two Robins but heads

* TakeThatCritics: Par for the course for ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo''. One of the spectators watching the 2003 and 2013 Titans battle each other is a fat sweaty man wearing a ''[[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Pretty Pretty Pegasus]]'' T-shirt, holding an anti-Teen Titans Go sign over his head and screaming that the 2013 Titans ruined his childhood.
