* Three Shorts: Or, two shorts. Two episode segments in both seasons.

* OffModel: The HD master of "Pet Project" has a moment where [[https://i.imgur.com/jNCdREn.png Mr. Jolly is misaligned with Leonard's seat]], which causes Jolly's backside to be mirrored and "clipping" through Leonard's face. Strangely enough, this error does ''not'' appear in the [[https://i.imgur.com/movxv6m.png SD master of the episode]], suggesting that it was a layering error between the two masters.

** "Tallulahpalooza": A good deed is it’s own reward, but it will still pay off in the end.

* HarmfulToPetsReminder: In The movie, Spot the dog becomes human and celebrates the fact that he can finally eat chocolate.

** The title sequence shows a brief scene of Spot in his Scott disguise posing in a clam shell like Sandro Botticelli's ''Birth of Venus''.

* WhereTheHellIsSpringfield: The town of East Westland, which is 2,000 miles from Okeechobee, Florida according to the movie, putting it in the western United States. (Not helping matters is the film's travel montage which includes the song "A Whole Bunch of World", which lists every state.)

* TomboyAndGirlyGirl : Youngchee is the hotheaded tomboy girl and Leslie is the spoiled sweet girly girl.

* HandOrObjectUnderwear: Happens twice in the movie. The song "I'm Movin' On" ends with Leonard and his mom standing out in the open and covering themselves while in their underwear because of their clothes somehow leaving with the rest of the ensemble participating in the song, while "Proud to be a Dog" has Spot cover his groin and blush to the lyric "With his pants not on".

* BewareTheNiceOnes: Mary Lou may act all TastesLikeDiabetes most of the time, but even she has limits to how nice she can be. Sometimes she'll shift into a StepfordSmiler before she finally has enough, though she doesn't necessarily go berserk.

* NiceHat: Scott wears a Beanie.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Leslie's hair is a dark blue shade, and Emma has robin's egg blue hair.
** Applies to the animals as well: Spot is primarily blue, and Talullah is mainly pink.

* EndOfAnEra: This was the last One Saturday Morning show to end and the last Disney television series to get a feature film.

In {{the movie}}, when Spot finds out that a mad scientist can turn animals into human beings, he sees this as a chance to become a real boy. Joined by Leonard, Mr. Jolly, and Pretty Boy, they are off to see him. Spot becomes a man (his age in dog years), but its not what he thought after all.

* LastOfHisKind: Averted. At of the time of its production, the movie was considered the last traditionally hand drawn non-digital animated movie.

* CompanyCrossReferences: TheMovie is chock-full of references to other Disney films, right off the bat with using "When You Wish Upon a Star" and opening with a recreation of a scene from ''WesternAnimation/Pinocchio''.
