It was only available if real money was spent to buy it in the cash shop.

* TurtlePower: Master Roshi's turtle still lives. There are also turtle saibamen, a step up from the bean/potato variants.

* CarryABigStick[=/=]SimpleStaff: Among the energy oriented classes, all members of the Namekian Dragon Clan have staffs, Human Turtle Hermits can obtain rods, Grand Chef Majins have clubs.

* AdaptationalBadass: Subverted. In the manga and anime, humans were basically ants compared to the galaxy destroying foes in the series. Here, humans are just as powerful as Majins and Nameks, and can go Super Saiyan. But this is only because they are hybrids, pure humans are still weak.

** The first timeline, where Goku dies from a heart virus, leading to Androids killing most of his friends.

* AnAxeToGrind: The Namek's Shadow Knight class has access to axes.

* CallASmeerpARabbit: According to the Head Director, all humans in the game are saiyan hybrids directly descended from Goku and Vegeta.

* CarryABigStick[=/=]SimpleStaff: Among the energy oriented classes, all members of the Namek Dragon Clan have staffs, Human Turtle Hermits can obtain rods, Grand Chef Majins have clubs.

* CombatHandFan: Usable by humans of the Crane Hermit class

* CutShort: The servers were taken down before many of the plot elements were able to be revealed.

** Sometimes appear Turtle Saibamen of colossal size, but they are not actually stronger than the average mob of the same level.
** Most dinosaurs are regular mobs that can be easily defeated by a player of the same level. Funnily in the trailer, a dinosaur is treated like a boss who needs 5 players to beat.

** TheBigGuy: The warrior namekian.

** TagalongKid: The Child Martial Artist.(The namekian is also a child, but is more a "big guy.")

** Similar with the Saiyan hybrid characters who typically look like Goku.
** The fight between the human and the Namek in the trailer is very similar to the fight between Goku and Piccolo.

* HeroicLineage: All [[CallASmeerpARabbit "Human" players]] are descended from Goku or Vegeta. Same with Maijin players and Fat Buu.

* ImprobablePowerDiscrepancy: Many small / medium animals are at high levels, even when by this point the player has already defeated many frieza soldiers and nameks.

* ThePowerOfFriendship: Krillin revived the Turtle School with this basis, in order to compensate for the general lack of strength humans have alone compared to aliens. However, as all the player humans are [[HalfHumanHybrid saiyan hybrids]] descended from aliens, and the Turtle Hermit class was very underpowered, the message is kinda [[BrokenAesop broken]].
* PunyEarthlings: DoubleSubverted. Humans are a main playable race and fend for themselves with superiror martial arts techniques. Then the Head Director clarified that the Humans were [[CallASmeerpARabbit actually]] Saiyan Hybrids descended from Goku and Vegeta, while actual humans are still irrelevant when it comes to saving the world.

** Justified, as the majority of the people listed were already established to be long-lived to begin with, one way or another.
** This trope is not limited to manga characters, we can include new characters as Miss Buu and the leaders of remnants of the Galactic Frieza Army.

* SeriousBusiness: The human and the namek of the first trailer participate in a martial arts tournament and act as if it were a fight to the death.

* SnakePeople: Snake saibamen a little less so than most examples, as they lack limbs

* SuperiorSuccessor: Many of the enemies are superior to the character in the original series on which they were based.
** General White was not a very strong fighter, his successor is one of the strongest subordinates of Tao.
** Buyon is an enemy that Goku defeated in the Red Ribbon saga, his successor is much stronger than Tao pai pai X. (Buyon on normal difficulty is thought for level 38, while Tao on hard difficulty is thought for level 30)

** Android 8 was powerful when was introduced, but was quickly overshadowed by guys like Tao Pai Pai and Korin. Androids 8,000 are much stronger than him.
** In the original series, Mutant Nameks were weaker than their father King Piccolo. Those who appear in this game are level 56-64.(As a point of comparison, most Frieza Soldiers tend to be between levels 41 to 47.)
* SpaceCompression: The game map is based on the official map of the earth of Dragon Ball, but with reduced distances.

** In the anime and manga the distance between the Kame House and the place where goku landed is 10,000 kilometers, in the game it is around 9 kilometers.

* TheBattleDidntCount: The Time Patrollers actually can't beat Raditz, just distract him for a while.

* TookALevelInBadass: Beyond the gameplay statistics, the player character has become stronger as the game progresses. For example, in the three "Time lap quests" , the player characters has to defeat enemies that Goku could defeat at the beginning of the series. While in the "Time Machine Quests", the player characters face the villains of the saga saiyan and Namek sagas.
** Tao Pai Pai got an update and becomes Tao Pai Pai x, although if the moment he is faced is any indication, Tao is still weaker than Raditz.

** And before the game's events, we have Buu, who made himself a wife from part of his own body. One [[GRatedSex love beam]] later, and the entire Majin race was spawned.

* UnitsNotToScale: Averted with normal sized units, for example Vegeta despite being a boss is as small as one would expect. But played straight with giant units, for example, Oozarus and giant namekians usually measure just over 6 meters tall, when in the anime they were much larger than that.

* UnderratedAndOverleveled: Krillin and Gohan in the fourth "Time Machine quest". At that point in the story, Gohan and Krillin were much weaker than Nappa, but in the gameplay they are almost as strong as Nappa on hard difficulty.
* UnevenHybrid: All human characters are actually part-Saiyan, being descendants of either Goku or Vegeta.

* WakeUpCallBoss: Bong Bong for humans, Real Monster for Majins and Jiji Builder for Nameks. They are characterized by being the first genuinely difficult enemies that the player will face. Something that makes them difficult, is that they are the first genuine bosses, being that by that time the player had only had to face that [[MiniBoss Supermobs]] that were only a little stronger than the common mobs.

* WolverinePublicity: Bardock got a lot of exposure.
* WorldOfBadass: The earth, which is filled with the presence of Hybrids, Nameks, Majins, dangerous wildlife, Saibamen, remnants of Freeza's army among others.

* FakeUltimateMook: Sometimes appear Saibamen of colossal size, but they are not actually stronger than the average mob of the same level.

** SmartGuy: The Dragon Clan Namekian.

* ImprobablePowerDiscrepancy: Many small / medium animals are at high levels, even when by this point the player has already defeated many frieza soldiers.

* DegradedBoss: In the first three "Time Machine quests", Android 8000 appears as a boss or a mini-boss. Later in the game, they appear as regular enemies.

* SpaceCompression: For comparison, in the anime and manga, the distance between Korin Tower and the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters was 2,300 km. In-game, it's only ~2 km.

* UnwinnableByMistake: In "Tmq 2", if the second to last enemy is killed before his cutscene, there will be a bug with the detonator and it will not be possible to fight Raditz.
