History Tropers / Indigo12ash

I am a [[TroperTypes Trope Editor]]. My job around here is to clean up after others. I do a ridiculous amount of editing. I haven't run anything through YKTTW and I don't use the forums all that often. I know there are some tropers with a list of tropes they named or other resume-esque things on their page. So far, besides editing pages, my biggest accomplishment is.... creating the image for ParallelPornTitles, moving a couple of works to their correct namespace, asking a shitload of questions in ATT and being a huge [[GrammarNazi Grammar and Formatting Nazi]]... Yeah.

[[SarcasmMode I love my high school]] but it's not ''only'' on Letterman's Top Ten Worst Mascots list, it's ''near the top''. Give it up for the Ridgefield Spudders! One time in one of my college classes, my world literature professor asked the class if we knew what a "trope" was. I almost cried because my class had dumb-founded looks on their faces. I raised my hand and said it was a "story-telling convention". My professor shot down my answer and then said that a trope was only an archetype and then began explaining "the trope of an aunt" to the class. In other news, TVTropes is the greatest place in the entire world. And yes, it has [[TVTropesWillRuinYourLife ruined my life]]. Although, one of the most annoying things about this site is that it's difficult for me to explain the concept to my friends. I even showed one of my friends the ''home page'' and she still says "I don't get it". Oh well, her loss. Whenever I am on this site, my mom thinks I'm "[[BuffySpeak fanfictioning]]".

I was bullied a lot when I was younger because, I am just weird. I'll admit it, I have UsefulNotes/AspergersSyndrome. Before you ask, I am actually diagnosed and don't use it to be an asshole on the internet. One of the things that bugs me is when people use "Asperger Syndrome" or "Asperger Disorder". It's "Asperger's Syndrome". Hans Asperger is the person who noticed it in his patients back in 1944. There is a difference between a syndrome and a disorder. A syndrome is something characterized by multiple symptoms and a disorder is a disturbance in mental or physical health. Sorry for the rant.

In other news, TVTropes is the greatest place in the entire world. And yes, it has [[TVTropesWillRuinYourLife ruined my life]]. Although, one of the most annoying things about this site is that it's difficult for me to explain the concept to my friends. I even showed one of my friends the ''home page'' and she still says "I don't get it". Oh well, her loss.
