YMMV

* FanNickname: Due to the fact that he tries to steal Hinata away from Naruto and generally behaving like a PG-13 version of a {{Netorare}} VillainProtagonist, a few fans and Website/{{PixIv}} artists have started calling Toneri "Netori". The fact that Toneri's name can easily be anagrammed to "Netori" probably helps too.
** To elaborate: "Netori" is a type of Japanese erotic fiction in which the protagonist tries (and usually succeeds) in winning over a girl from someone who is unworthy of her (abusive, neglectful, stupid etc). Since Toneri sees himself as superior and try to win Hinata from Naruto, a guy whom he thinks is inferior to him, the nickname fits him perfectly.

I Knew It is described as "a fan theory or theories later proven to be true." Naruto having a shallow crush on Sakura is NOT a fan theory—it was outright stated in Page 17 of manga Chapter 3. Because this was in the manga, it is NOT I Knew It.
