* CriticalResearchFailure: From the Norwegian perspective, Grøh‘s name is wrong on two levels;- firstly, the “h” following the slashed o in his name is erroneous, and secondly, the name is not pronounced “grow” but rather it would approximately rhyme with “sir” or “fleur”. It’s not the first time the series has made errors with the spellings of some characters’ names (Seong-Mina, Yun-Seong etc), so it remains to be seen if this will be corrected.

* DevelopmentGag: [[http://soulcalibur.wikia.com/wiki/File:Nightmare02SCANIME.jpg One piece of artwork]] from ''Soulcalibur'' depicted Nightmare riding on a HellishHorse, but his not-so-noble steed never appeared alongside him in the game proper or any installment thereafter. Here, Nightmare conjures up a phantasmal unicorn somewhat reminiscent of said demonic creature for an [[FoeTossingCharge animal-assisted]] [[SingleStrokeBattle mauling]] in his [[LimitBreak Critical Edge]].

Adding Awesome Dear Boy. Also, that is definitely Paul St. Peter because he sounds exactly like the previous narrator, no mistaking it. Other games have listed role reprisals when they obviously had the same voice, I don't see why this should be an exception.

https://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/12/08/soul-calibur-vi-arrives-on-ps4-in-2018/ The game takes place around the time of the first SC, so it's not a sequel to SCIV

* SequelGap:
** ''VI'' is set for release in 2018, ''six years'' after ''V''. This makes it the longest gap between mainline ''SC'' games in series history.
** In another sense, there's an even bigger gap. ''VI'' is more of a sequel to the original ''SC'' games before the SoftReboot that ''V'' attempted. This means there's a ''ten year gap'' between this game and ''IV''.
