. Also, Lizardman's style was spotted in the game and people at TGS weren't allowed to go too far, which was just before Edge Master was introduced.

That doesn't prove where he's at on the character select screen. That's what I'm trying to get at.
"When the final build with the Cervantes/Raphael leak was shown with 20 characters slots and four missing ones, many, many fans took it as definitive proof that this was the final roster and the four spots were being used as placeholders for DLC. Come Tokyo Game Show 2018, it was revealed there would be unlockable characters that the missing spots were intending to fill, one of which being Inferno. Another one being Lizardman, a CAS version of him being spotted using a style that unambiguously belonged to him, and another possible one being Hwang, who was seen with a unique look in Seong Mi-na's Soul Chronicle."
Can someone please give credible citation to the unlockable character spot theory? How do we know those spots aren't for dlc?
