** Naomi, the Original Generation character for the game, was supposed to who Ange initially was supposed to be during the development stages. However, the developers decided that they wanted for go for something a bit more original.

* IKnewIt:
** Fans correctly guessed that the Toshihiko Seki-voiced Embryo would get to sing.
** Absolutely ''nobody'' was fooled by [[spoiler: Tusk and Momoka's deaths]] in Episode 21 and had already guessed they survived due to NeverFoundTheBody. Sure enough, one episode later [[spoiler: they show up no worse for wear]].
** Quite a few fans correctly predicted that Creator/EmilyNeves and Creator/AustinTindle would play Ange and Tusk for the English dub.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: In the DVD extras, it's revealed that there were plans for Momoka to betray Ange and be revealed as being in on Julio's plan when they returned to Misurugi, however it was felt that there should at least be one pure-hearted character in the show.

* ActingForTwo: Quite a bit of the cast aside from the main ones also have secondary roles. However, all of them never meet their counterparts[[note]]Save for a brief scene in episode 22 where Emma and Liza share some lines with each other[[/note]] so TalkingToHimself is usually avoided.

* RelationshipVoiceActor: Given that this ''is'' an AllStarCast, this was pretty much unavoidable from the get go. Among some of the more notable ones:
** Creator/NanaMizuki and Creator/YukariTamura. In this show, [[Franchise/MagicalGirlLyricalNanoha Fate and Nanoha]] are enemies once again. They later become [[HoYay/CrossAnge very good friends]] ... also once again.
** Creator/YuiOgura (Chris) and Creator/KaoriIshihara (Rosalie) were [[VideoGame/HyperdimensionNeptuniaMk2 Ram and Rom]]. They're also joined by [[Creator/EriKitamura Uni]] (Salia) and [[Creator/YuiHorie Nepgear]] (Sala).

** This show also reunites a lot of cast from another AllStarCast Anime, ''Anime/DogDays''. To note, [[Creator/MamoruMiyano Tusk]] and [[Creator/NanaMizuki Ange]] are childhood friends (Tusk even sounds like and behaves like Cinque!); [[Creator/EriKitamura Salia]] becomes a magical girl; [[Creator/KosukeToriumi Julio]] is a demon lord; [[Creator/AmiKoshimizu Ersha]] is a CoolBigSis and [[Creator/YuiHorie Sala]] and [[Creator/NanaMizuki Ange]] are spirited rivals yet best friends (Millhiore and Nanami); [[Creator/KanaAsumi The Dragon Priestess]] is a minor ninja goddess; [[Creator/SumireUesaka Momoka]] is a dragon priestess.
** From ''Anime/KillLaKill'', [[Creator/AmiKoshimizu Ersha]] is Ryuko, [[Creator/YukariTamura Hilda]] is Nui, [[Creator/ToshihikoSeki Embryo]] is Senketsu.
** The entire cast seems to revolve around the hierarchy in the the record label, King Records, and it's subsidiary, Starchild.
*** Creator/NanaMizuki and Creator/YukariTamura are King Records' biggest names in its anime division. Both are sort of rivals, on the same team, in a way and this is reflected in the anime.
*** Creator/MamoruMiyano is King Record's only male artist who happens to be doing anything at this point in time.
*** Creator/YuiHorie is Starchild's biggest name at this point in time. Sara serves a foil to Angelise.
*** Creator/EriKitamura is also under Starchild and is known to be a huge Nana Mizuki fangirl. Her character is always one step behind Angelise and tries hard to surpass her or get Angelise to notice her.
*** Creator/SumireUesaka is a new artist who has just been signed under Starchild. The way Momoka serves Angelise, is in a way, understudying a big name in the label, and that one day, she may be be promoted to the main label.
*** Creator/YuiOgura and Creator/KaoriIshihara make up the duo "Yui Kaori", under King Records. Chris and Rosalie are always together and shown to be under the tutelage of Hilda, voiced by Yukari Tamura, as though Yukarin as taken Yui and Kaori under her wing.
*** Creator/MinoriChihara was formerly signed under King Records but later on, jumped over to Lantis. The way her character was slaughtered [[TakeThat seems to be a message.]]
*** Music/MegumiHayashibara was one of Starchild's first few artists. By playing Angelise's mother, she is seen as passing on the torch to the next generation.

* This series made its debut in ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars'' starting with ''[[VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsV V]]'' and then ''[[VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsX X]]''. Much like [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEEDDestiny another controversial Mitsuo Fukuda-directed series]], a lot of FixFic elements were applied to the show to the point that a good chunk of fans considered that the series was improved by the game.

** On the english side for some, Fluttershy for Ersha. Out of strange coincidence, Ersha looks almost indentical to a humanized Fluttershy, merely lacking the yellow turtleneck.
** Angelise for Ange, pre-CharacterizationMarchesOn where she rejected Normas and wishes to eradicate all of them. Some also use Hitlerina.
** Stripper vision guy for Embryo, thanks the opening where he stares at Ange who's running and somehow [[ClothingDamage strips her clothes]]. Alternatively, he also garnered "Fetus-kun", in relation to his name.
** Website/{{Twitter}} bird for the bird that latches on Embryo in his first scene since the bird looks like the same logo from the Twitter website.
** Top Meido for Momoka
** Salamandinay might have been a victim of many many AccidentalMisnaming (until most officially goes with either 'Sala' or 'Salako'). Still, that didn't stop many people to come up with any other creative misnaming for Sala as her nickname.
