Not wanting to shatter the innocence of a quartet of babies by breaking the news that the Super-Buds aren't real, they all make excuses before leaving. "Smartessa" tries to tell them that there's a lunar eclipse that night that would remove their powers which an unconvinced Sasha breaks it that the last one was just in June. "Explodo-Girl" tries to tell the Babyz that she's off duty. "Mr. Stretchtastic" can only apologize before heading off. "Johnny Speedometer" just... smiles, waves, and runs off. Ultimately, this makes the Babyz just see them as [[DirtyCoward Dirty Cowards]].

In late 2012, the line expanded with ''Toys/{{Bratzillaz}}'', who are not only the cousins of the main cast, but also witches. The line takes obvious cues from ''Harry Potter'', but has mostly been compared to Mattel's ''Monster High'', and with good reason- MGA seems to be doing their best to openly compete with Mattel's juggernaut, with a similar catchphrase ("Glam Gets Wicked", as opposed to "Freaky Just Got Fabulous") and even a Youtube channel that has short "webisodes" and even a live-action music video which has been compared to the Monster High "Fright Song" video. As of 2015, it seems Bratztillaz is a retail failure, as even the original 5 dolls can be purchased for well below original retail cost, the webisodes only received very sporadic updates and new doll releases have been sparse at best since 2013.

** When the Bratz pressure new kid Ginger to make her story scarier, she gets overwhelmed and runs out of the room, prompting the Bratz to try and look for her so they can apologize. Sounds like your simple everyday girl-oriented SliceOfLife children's movie, right?

Due to the somewhat sexual nature of the dolls' designs and clothing, the materialistic nature of the franchise, and the overall poor quality of the cartoon and movies, it is almost universally hated by everyone outside of its target demographic. According to MGA CEO Isaac Larian, only perverts would see anything sexual about the dolls. And then along came the Internet!

* TheFashionista: Jade, although the slogan implies the whole line is about this.

* FiveTokenBand- There's Cloe the white girl, Sasha the SassyBlackWoman, AsianAndNerdy Jade, and Latina GranolaGirl Yasmin. The fifth person is whatever one-shot character is in that episode/movie/set of dolls.

* FourGirlEnsemble: Cloe is [[NiceGuy sweet]], but dramatic, Sasha is the [[SoulBrotha Soul Sista]] and musician of the group, Jade is the alternative, rebellious [[TheFashionista fashionista]], and Yasmin is the the peacemaking {{Team Mom}}.

** Neither Burdine nor the Tweevils have not gotten any toys.

* AmbiguouslyGay: The only boy in the new official canon (And on the website) at this point is Eitan, and while Cameron, Dylan and various others have been released as dolls under the Bratz Boyz moniker, Eitan is part of the main ensemble-image on the website with the girls.

* WhatHappenedToTheMpuse: So the aliens in ''Bratz Super Babyz'' are finally defeated! Yay! So... what are we going to do about the device that started it all? Oh, we're not going to bring it up again? Well okay then.

* CoversAlwaysLie: The Bratz Babyz' [[https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51ZCj9idh7L.jpg outfits presented on the cover of Bratz Super Babyz]] are vastly different (and more modest) from [[https://i.ytimg.com/vi/xwIJD0TJQ5U/hqdefault.jpg the ones they wear in the film]].
** Likewise, the cover for ''Bratz Kidz: Sleepover Adventure'' has the Kidz doing activities such as Cloe painting Sasha's nails, Jade eating popcorn, and Yasmin combing Cloe's hair. All they actually do is dance and tell stories. Oh, and Ginger is absent in spite of the fact she hosted the sleepover.
