* Michelle's fate. After dying, she makes a contract with Eve Moonlit to work together with Gallerian to create a utopia. Acting with Eve's personality, Michelle often forgot who she was, and her Gift was sometimes too strong that she almost lost her heart to Eve multiple times. Then, she is sucked into the Clockworker's Doll by Hansel, then released to help Gallerian in the Hellish Yard. Michelle from then on is treated as the Sloth Sinner. It's a sharp contrast to the bright and kind young girl in Judgment.

She couldn't do much under Gallerian's care, entirely reliant on him to even move. She seems to be happy to have him as a father, but it's clear she's aware he only loves her because he thinks she's Michelle. After being taken to the theater to be safe, she's summoned by Adam back to Gallerian's mansion during their argument, and as a result not only has to watch Gallerian die but also gets burned by building burning down. * The Master of the Court’s devotion to her father. She has absolutely no idea of what she's doing and only does what her father used to do. She's naïve and has absolutely no sense of right or wrong, or even what goes on in the outside world. It's both tragic and beautiful.

* The last line of "Song of the Third Period" (or more accurately, the last one that doesn't feature "lu li la") is a duet between a Gakupo and a Gumi. * When Nemesis fires at the Black Box in the song version of master of the heavenly yard, Allen observes that she's "thinking of someone as she watches the fireworks" produced from the explosion and ponders who that someone is. We of course, realize that she's thinking of Nyoze.

We explosion. We, of course, realize that she's thinking of Nyoze.Nyoze, a callback to The Last Revolver. For bonus points, the image of Nemesis shooting the Black Box has her surrounded by sakura petals, like how she met Nyoze under the sakura tree.

* Irina's fate as a whole can also be counted as this. She was [[spoiler: one of Ma's three souls, then incarnated as the "Doll Director" (later becoming the Master of the Court). *** Want to make it worse? Remember, Riliane doesn't remember she has a twin when the war breaks out. The line where Allen says "It'll be fine, nobody will notice, we're twins after all" is literally the moment she realizes just who her trusted servant was... only, she has to run away right then or the plan won't work.

You can't frame everything in this battle as a tearjerker to bolster the example when it is clearly not framed as even being sad for the most part. Only some of this qualifies, and the stuff that does is already in the appropriate page (the Fifth Pierrot novel's tearjerker entry).

* The Duel of Merrigod Plateau. Levia finally remembers who she is, accompanied with Gumillia even crying at her realization, and Irina's explanation on why she did everything is also pretty sad. And the fight itself is very bittersweet, with both sides fighting for two hours and not getting anywhere until Irina self-destructs her Black Box Type S. Even more saddening, Banica interrupts the duel with her Worldeater, which causes Levia and Irina to work together to try to defeat him, utilizing their magic. However, it doesn't work, and Levia's, Irina's, and Eve's souls are sucked into . Behemo, Gumillia, and Seth end up in the Hellish Yard because of the blast, and Adam ends up inside the Marlon Spoon. Nothing was accomplished from that duel, because there is no clear winner. But it's saddening to see that .

Not exactly as described here. And not all of this is intended to be tearjerking.
