** Despite her lithe physique, [[Characters/RWBYSalem Salem]] is far stronger than her delicate frame suggests, easily tossing a table aside. During her battle with the heroes in Volume 8, Salem causally tosses Yang at Oscar when he blasts her with magic and during her battle with Hazel, she grabs him by the back of his head and repeatedly slams his face into the ground.

* In ''Machinima/RedVsBlue'', a handful of characters have super strength. [[CloudCuckoolander Caboose]] has it (especially when [[BewareTheSillyOnes angry]]), which Church calls "God's way of compensating". In one of his most impressive feats, he entered an area where gravity had been multiplied several times and he didn't notice anything was wrong. Agent Texas has it, in part thanks to her robot body; she's shown catching a very large storage crate as it's dropped on her and then throwing it clear across a warehouse at her assailants. And Agent Maine[=/=]The Meta has it, able to stop a charging 'Warthog' LRV and kick it across a parking lot, and also able to punch a man in the head hard enough to kill him despite the presence of a reinforced-titanium helmet.

** [[CoolBigSis Yang Xiao Long]] has demonstrated several feats of superhuman strength so far, the most spectacular of which include: sending an abnormally tall grown man flying across a nightclub; smashing a grizzly bear-sized Grimm through several trees; catching a punch from a house-sized MiniMecha with one arm and then promptly shattering the mech's arm to a thousand bits with her counter punch; shoulder-hoisting a giant speaker that was enough to cause her teenage sister Ruby, a table and a chair to jump up off the ground when she put it down; and punching a car with enough force to send it flying down the street, wiping out several Grimm in the process.

* In the TabletopGame/NewVindicators universe, this power pops up, but its not too common and is often the result of another power-set: Greystone of the European [=PC=]s is able to gain super-strength as a result of his shapeshifting, Bulwark is made of rock, Coach Crag gains this when he turns into rock, and so forth. Only a few characters (Crusader, Paragon, both kind of inspired by Superman) have super-strength just cause, in a MusclesAreMeaningless kind of way.
* Pretty common in the Literature/WhateleyUniverse, ranging from Exemplars who are just really strong to 'flying bricks' like Lancer who has a PK field so he can lift that car without breaking it. (However, as a nod to "realism" and in line with the generally assumed slightly lower power level of the setting most characters' superstrength explicitly tops out in the "some single-digit number of tons" range. Thus, even a character who can lift a car can't necessarily do the same with an entire ''bus''.)
* Let us all not forget that [[WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries Tristan Taylor's Voice]] gives him Super Strength.
* Also common in the ComicBook/{{Less Than Three|Comics}}-Verse. Mr Perfect, The Richards Brothers and The Freak all have super strength, as do a number of background characters.

Dewicking, since it's an inaccessible roleplay filed under Unpublished Works now.

* Scientists in the ''Roleplay/GlobalGuardiansPBEMUniverse'' have determined that this is the most common superpower in the world. An estimated 60% of all metahumans have Super Strength to some degree or other, ranging from people who are still within normal ranges for athletic humans (but who obviously are much stronger than their height, weight, build would indicate) to people capable of lifting megatons worth of weight.
** An example of the first would be [[BadassNormal Audrey Cohen]], a seven year old girl featured in a People Magazine cover story in 1995. In front of a dozen witnesses, Ms. Cohen lifted nearly two hundred pounds over her head. She was retested in 2010 at age 21, where it was shown that her maximum lift capacity was about 320 pounds.
** An example of the second would be the supervillain [[UnstoppableRage Rampage]], for whose strength no upper limit has ever been found.

The main page for Super Strength was becoming too long. Certain sections, like Web Original, were removed from the main page and split into subpages.

* A fair amount of characters from ''Roleplay/DarwinsSoldiers'' have this power but [[BadassNormal Alfred]], a FunnyAnimal bison, is quite possibly the strongest of them. He has thrown boulders weighing hundreds of pounds at his enemies, fought a cybernetic warrior to a standstill and disabled his gun arm - by smashing the ammunition feed port and tied a knot in a piece of rebar.
** Aimee also has some degree of this (demonstrated when she crushes the barrel of a pistol) with her cybernetic arms.
** It is mentioned that bovids in general have some degree of this.
--> Random Bystander: Bovids naturally have incredible strength. Trust me, I once saw one tie a knot in a piece of rebar.
** Subject 18 from ''New Divide'' has this and it is further augmented by a set of experimental gloves he stole.
** Gustave Chiumbo, a FunnyAnimal Nile crocodile, is the strongest character in the RP.
* ''WebVideo/DoctorHorriblesSingAlongBlog'': This is one of SmugSuper Captain Hammer's powers, along with NighInvulnerability.
* This is one of the side effects of becoming [[DemonicPossession in]][[WebVideo/EverymanHYBRID HABIT]][[FanNickname ed]], although you probably won't enjoy [[PeoplePuppets the front row seats to what he makes your body do with it]].

* In ''WebAnimation/HappyTreeFriends'', Splendid has this power. It also applies to Flippy, who once stopped the blades of a biplane ''with his bare hands''.
* Quite a few characters in ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'':
** There's also [[CloudCuckoolander Nora Valkyrie]], who is capable of smashing giant monsters down with her hammer, and in one [[FoodFight "battle"]] against the aforementioned Yang, [[MegatonPunch hit her with enough force to send her flying through the ceiling and several hundred meters in the air]].
** And then finally there's [[spoiler:Penny, who is able to stop a speeding truck with her bare hands]].
* ''Wiki/SCPFoundation''
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-280 SCP-280 ("Eyes in the Dark")]]. SCP-280 can rip steel items apart without straining itself.
** [[http://scp-wiki.net/scp-326 SCP-326 ("A Chinese Peasant")]]. SCP-326 can throw 200 kilograms of weight more than four meters. Her strength has not been formally measured and is probably greater than this.
** [[http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-633 SCP-633 ("The Roaring One")]]. When SCP-633 is extremely angry it can dent steel with its blows.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-974 SCP-974 ("Treehouse Predator")]]. SCP-974-A (what SCP-974 turns into when it isn't fed children) is strong enough to rip the steel roof off of a building.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-1120 SCP-1120 ("Freeze Tag")]]. SCP-1120 has inhumanly tremendous strength, enough to tear through cinderblock walls and destroy buildings.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-1512 SCP-1512 ("Irrational Root")]]. SCP-1512's tendrils can grow at a rate up to 8 meters/second. While doing so they can exert enough strength to burst through concrete and naval-grade steel plate.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2301 SCP-2301 ("Slayer's Song")]]. When SCP-2301 takes the form of a Japanese oni, it is "incredibly strong", and can crush a man's chest by striking it with a kanabo (Japanese club).
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2525 SCP-2525 ("Extraterrestrial Broadcaster")]]. The original SCP-2525 was an alien creature powerful enough to puncture plate steel and break the restraints designed to hold it.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2610 SCP-2610 ("Procreation")]]. The mutated humans known as SCP-2610-E are described in a report as being "inhumanly strong" and capable of ripping a human being apart limb from limb.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2757 SCP-2757 ("Dr. Wondertainment's Projector Fantastico™")]]. When the SCP-2757 projector is used with the film SCP-2757-1e ''The Valiant Crusaders'', one of the powers gained by the experimental subjects is super stength.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2791 SCP-2791 ("Fauste Bank plc")]]. SCP-2791 is specifically not allowed to grant the power of increased physical strength as part of their DealWithTheDevil.
