* In ''Manga/KillingBites'', the vast majority of Brutes have heightened senses. When cornered inside a restroom, Brute Beagle is able to render her attacker nearly unconscious by ''baying'' at full volume inside the enclosed space. Hardly surprising for such an infamously noisy breed.
* ''Manga/MusukoGaKawaikuteShikataganaiMazokuNoHahaoya'': Alice, the owner of the shop Lorem and Merii frequent, has the ability to control and redirect sound. This lets her fire off blasts of sound, but she can also use it for echolocation, which served her well in her previous career as a smuggler. However, as she explains to Teresa, using her sound and her eyes for sight at the same time can make Alice dizzy, which is why she almost always wears a blindfold.
