* MultiformBalance: Fourze's forms are known as "States". Base States is a JackOfAllStats, Elek States is a StoneWall, Fire States is a MightyGlacier, Magnet States is the MidSeasonUpgrade and even greater MightyGlacier, and Cosmic States is the SuperMode. In the movies and other tie-ins, he gets the FragileSpeedster Rocket States, LightningBruiser Rocket Drill States, and alternate Super Modes Meteor Fusion States and crancked UpToEleven for Meteor Nadeshiko Fusion States.

TRS cleanup

* AbsenteeActor: Averted, as in episodes #6 and #7 has Shun and Tomoko get just one appearance, with varying relevance to the plot (probably to set up their upcoming involvement as future members of the Kamen Rider Club). It's even lampshaded in #7 when Gentaro asks himself; "What was I thinking, how would he know about that?"
** Also averted in #8 with Sonoda and Ohsugi showing up in school on a Sunday.
** Finally used in #15. Every KRC member except JK appears because (in-universe) JK is hosting a Christmas Edition of his JK Night party.
** Played straight again with in #41. .

* SignatureStyle: Yes, Koichi Sakamoto has a hand in this show, and just to hammer it home we have Fourze jumping off a flying bike to kick the enemy in #2. Other elements of Sakamoto's style are present such as the wire-fu (in mild doses when compared to Franchise/PowerRangers), and filming at an angle (including a shot where Fourze rides his motorcycle over the camera). And in episode #32 and #48, the Kalishplosions even get carried over.

!!Recurring Kamen Rider tropes include:
* Crossover: Of course, the now-annual tradition of a Movie Wars crossover applies; however, this time Fourze won't just be meeting his immediate predecessor OOO, but also Double, Riders 1 and 2, V3 and Riderman, X-Rider, Amazon, and Stronger.
** Fourze and Meteor are the actual protagonists of VideoGame/AllKamenRiderGenerations 2 CrisisCrossover game. And did I mention you that an Astro Switch is what caused the Crossover to happen?
** A(nother) series of crossover shorts with Anime/CrayonShinChan has been announced aired during both shows as a way to honor both series' anniversaries.
** Though not an official crossover, Pixiv artists had a field day when it turned out Fourze had a Kyoto field day episode the same time Anime/SmilePrettyCure did.
* ElementalPowers:
** Astro Switches
*** AnIcePerson: The Freeze Switch.
*** BlowYouAway: The Aero Switch.
*** DishingOutDirt: The Schop Switch.
*** GravityMaster: The actual power of the Giantfoot Switch.
*** LightEmUp: The Flash Switch.

*** ExtraOreDinary: Magnet States, by manipulating surrounding metal through its magnetism.
*** SpaceMaster: Cosmic States, who can create a warp drive to send the enemy into space for its FinishingMove.
* EvolvingCredits: Like with OOO, the opening is usually adjusted to highlight the latest Switches, but it's stopped at Switch #20 for now.
** Episode 19's opening takes out Sonoda and adds Meteor. Episode 21's opening adds Magnet States and showcases the Switches starting with #21 (Stealth).
** #35 adds Cosmic into the States montage. It also added Ryusei into more of the Kamen Rider Club Shots, updated the States (including adding Meteor Storm into the credits), and Miu, Shun, Ohsugi-sensei and Gamou have new clips for the opening.

* SignatureStyle: Yes, Koichi Sakamoto has a hand in this show, and just to hammer it home we have Fourze jumping off a flying bike to kick the enemy in #2. Other elements of Sakamoto's style are present such as the wire-fu (in mild doses when compared to PowerRangers), and filming at an angle (including a shot where Fourze rides his motorcycle over the camera). And in episode #32 and #48, the Kalishplosions even get carried over.

***It goes farther that Groundain and Skydain obviously being based on Grounzel and Skyzel. Not only is XVII based on Daitetsujin 17, it's pronounced "X-V-2" instead of "Seventeen," just as the original was pronounced "One Seven" as opposed to "Seventeen." The molecule-like machinery in its core is based on the design of a Daitetsujin 17 villain called Brain. Brain was once the human Professor Blink, just as Inga Blink's father's mind is the basis of XVII's brain. and its little helper robots are based on the large helper robot Gombess from Kyodain. (According to AllThereInTheManual, the robots are even called Gunbases.)
