* DeconstructedTrope: Charlie didn't undergo any training before being sent on his first mission. Sure, he may be the best player in the game featuring the villains he's supposed to fight and he also knows some karate, but that's far from enough to be able to fight criminal masterminds. So when he goes on his first mission, he botches everything, from almost blowing his cover when the bad guys ask who he is (he responds with "I'm Charl-I mean, I'm Aaron Stone") to having said bad guys mop the floor with him. Even after he gets better, he never really learns how to use one piece of his Aaron Stone gear (his shoes).
