On a smaller scale see QuirkyHousehold. Generally free of SmallTownBoredom, and anyone who says "NothingExcitingEverHappensHere" either has lived there long enough that the eccentricity of their neighbors seems normal to them, or [[BlatantLies is just plain lying]]. Might also be a CutesyNameTown.
