* Wolfgang Grimmer from ''Anime/{{Monster}}'' doesn't even stop smiling [[spoiler:as he bleeds to death]]. He ''is'' a pleasant person but the smile is just something he was trained to do. At one point he recalls how his wife left him because he couldn't stop smiling even when his son died.

People who know him well tend to find it a bit unsettling because they know that the smile reveals precisely nothing about what's going on inside his head.

As a video game character born into reality, his take on human mannerism leaves a lot to be desired. So does his [[KillAllHumans idea of fun]], as it's not exactly in line with [[DeadlyGame common expectations]], not to speak about his ability to blend ItAmusedMe with whatever he is plotting. Dropping that smile actually prompted an OhCrap from the then BigBad on one occasion.
