* A reucrring joke in the gaming community is that any game in which your customized character appears in a cutscene is constantly at risk of this trope. Broadly speaking, it isn't difficult to induce it in most modern video games given the amount of control offered to you. If you're so inclined, nothing's stopping you from t-bagging an NPC that just died dramatically, running in circles or staring at a wall while being given important information, or simply breaking the game with cheats. Many livestreamers and people who make videos based on games thrive on this for content.

* During the GainaxEnding of VideoGame/MetalGearSolid2SonsOfLiberty, ... changes. His dialogue begins to vary from parental admonishments to childish fantasies to quotes from earlier games to dadaist nonsense, and it's funny; Raiden's nudity is also funny.funny]] or sexy. But it only serves to rub in that you are helpless, alone and betrayed and it's going to get worse from here on, providing one of the creepiest segments in any game ever made. * Music/NinjaSexParty is fond of this, often contrasting a tune with completely dissonant lyrics. Attitude City is an IAmSong with all of the badass imagery undermined by the narrator's ineffectual accomplishments, while Wondering Tonight is a soul-wrenching breakup ballad strewn with ribald language and funny euphamisms.
