It seems that in order for a female villain to be irredeemable, she has to be more evil than the male villains. To actually be ''[[WouldntHitAGirl killed]]'' by the end of the movie, she has to be ''way'' more evil than the male villains. It's also an interesting chain of FaceHeelTurn since Ty Lee did a HelpFaceTurn to align with Mai, who had done a HighHeelFaceTurn to align with Zuko, who had done a HeelFaceTurn to align with the gang. Also note that Ty Lee herself is a stunned as anyone else (or quite possibly more) by her actions.

Dracule [[spoiler:quits once Shanks appears]]. Kuma...well let's not even get into that whole mess. Hell, Boa Hancock wasn't even going to show up for the war against Whitebeard, until Luffy asked for her help. She's more of a DefrostingIceQueen and total bitch cranked up to eleven rather than a straight up villain. The World Government screening process for Shichibukai is downright terrible.

** It's debatable whether Ty Lee fits this trope, since she was aligning with her buddy Mai instead of the manly hero. It's also an interesting chain of FaceHeelTurn since Ty Lee did a HelpFaceTurn to align with Mai, who had done a HighHeelFaceTurn to align with Zuko, who had done a MookFaceTurn to align with the gang. Also note that Ty Lee herself is a stunned as anyone else (or quite possibly more) by her actions.
