For writers, the shortest way to avert the HighHeelFaceTurn is to make the woman [[WouldHurtAChild kill children intentionally]] or [[GoodGirlsAvoidAbortion have an abortion]], which are apparently the only things that viewers won't forgive coming from a woman.

It seems that in order for a female villain to be irredeemable, she has to be more evil than the male villains. To actually be ''[[WouldntHitAGirl killed]]'' by the end of the movie, she has to be ''way'' more evil than the male villains. She more or less has to [[CompleteMonster backflip over the]] MoralEventHorizon [[ForTheEvulz shouting "woohooo!"]]

** Alright, the [[MobileSuitGundam original series]] has Miharu Ratokie, rookie spy, sell out our heroes before falling in love with Kai. [[spoiler: She dies while helping defend White Base.]]

** [[ZetaGundam Zeta]] has Four Murasame and Rosammy Badam fall in love with Kamille, Reccoa falling in love with the villain, and Sarah fall in love with Katz AND the villain. Note, none of them actually switch sides but Reccoa. [[spoiler: Everyone I just mentioned dies, except Kamille, who ends up retarded.]]

*** Not that great of an example though. Crocodile pulled one out of respect for Whitebeard and Luffy. Jimbei did out of respect for Luffy, Ace, and Whitebeard. Dracule [[spoiler:quits once Shanks appears]]. Kuma...well let's not even get into that whole mess. Hell, Boa Hancock wasn't even going to show up for the war against Whitebeard, until Luffy asked for her help. She's more of a DefrostingIceQueen and total bitch cranked up to eleven rather than a straight up villain. The World Government screening process for Seven Walords of the Sea is downright terrible.

** And [[SexFaceTurn Bond's Epic Goods turn her straight]], apparently!

* Kurow Kirishima of ''[[RivalSchools Project Justice]]'' sets himself up with two henchwomen - his sister Yurika, and admirer Momo. By the end of the game they've both betrayed him [[ThePowerOfFriendship for the friends they've gained]], although Kurow probably brought it on himself by treating Yurika like crap and [[YouHaveOutlivedYourusefulness considering Momo as nothing more than a pawn]].

* Megara from ''{{Hercules}},'' anyone?
** To her credit, she was [[PunchClockVillain never really evil in the first place.]]

** It's debatable whether Ty Lee fits this trope, since she was aligning with her buddy Mai instead of the manly hero. It's also an interesting chain of FaceHeelTurn since Ty Lee did a HelpFaceTurn to align with Mai, who had done a HighHeelFaceTurn to align with Zuko, who had done a HeelFaceTurn to align with the gang. Also note that Ty Lee herself is a stunned as anyone else (or quite possibly more) by her actions.

* In ''MegaManX: Command Mission'', although it's more of a StrangeBedfellows scenario, Ferham, one of the last members of the Rebellion, helps her enemies (X and his allies) defeat the BigBad [[spoiler:Redips/[[BackwardsName Spider]] by removing the AppliedPhlebotinum that made him nearly invincible, allowing the heroes to ultimately defeat him]]. In the end, Ferham, [[spoiler:like most other examples, pulls off a RedemptionEqualsDeath to destroy the AppliedPhlebotinum so that it will not fall into the wrong hands ever again]].

* Diamondback (Rachel Leighton) was sent by the Serpent Society to help capture Captain America. Though she did not immediately abandon her mercenary ways, she fell in love with Cap and helped him escape. They later formed a romantic relationship.

* In ''FinalFantasyVII'' Crisis Core, all of the Turks eventually turn to Zack's side, but Cissnei is the first to do so.

** And Bond's Epic Goods turn her straight, apparently!

** To be fair, she was [[AntiVillain never all that evil to begin with]]. [[spoiler: Her goal was to [[WellIntentionedExtremist unite the world under one nation so that there would be no more wars]]. Once she realizes that [[BigBad Galcian]] just wants the world to suffer, she decides to sacrifice herself to kill him, by ramming her airship into his escape pod, when he tries to run away after Vyse and the others defeat him.]] It wasn't just that she thinks Vyse is hot and she was in loved Glacian.

*** The last straw for Miss Teschmacher involved [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes siccing a missile on her mother's hometown]]. That [[HelpFaceTurn led her to save Superman's life in exchange for his stopping that missile]] which was headed for Hackensack, NJ.

* In Disney's ''{{Condorman}}'', {{KGB}} spy Natalia is a DefectorFromCommieLand, but she insists on doing so only to the titular "top secret agent", who is actually a bumbling comic book writer. HilarityEnsues when he's forced to actually do all the spy stuff he dreams of in order to rescue her, but it's his naive charm that won Natalia's heart in the first place and prompted her defection.

** I [[OrSoIHeard heard]] in the original script she was romantically involved with Norm, which was part of the reason she switched sides, [[WhatCouldHaveBeen but the scenes were cut]].

** It also helps that, while Ty Lee really did like Azula (Ty Lee pretty much likes everyone and everything after all) she only signed on because she absolutely HAD to. She was never [[CloudCuckoolander exactly]] evil.

** [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]] and subverted in ''{{Thunderball}}'' with [[NebulousEvilOrganization SPECTRE's]] "Black Widow" Fiona Volpe, who warns Bond not to expect that from her. Bond, proably because he's a bed-hopping bastard, actually shrugs this off with "Well, you can't win them all". Volpe is actually the first Bond girl this does'nt work on, but it turned out he was'nt actually trying it on her in the first place.

* As it would seem, in ''BlazBlue'' [[spoiler:NOL is setting themselves up to have a massive HighHeelFaceTurn in the end. First off, Litchi is genuinely good and probably just a victim of manipulation, not really loyal to NOL, some tinkering from other sources like either Carl or Bang could make her defect. Tsubaki is also pretty sympathetic; Jin, Noel and Hakumen would probably work on persuading her to get out of NOL rather than offing her. Then if the rumors about the identity of Phantom being the dead Nine coming BackFromTheDead, Jubei would still want her back and other heroes could convince her. And the [[BigBad Imperator Saya]]? There's the rumors that Hazama made her the cold-hearted individual she is currently, and Ragna wouldn't give her up so easily. Pretty much in NOL, those who are not redeemable lack a vagina (Hazama/Terumi and Relius)]]

* Mirage in ''TheIncredibles''.

** Inverted in ''LiveAndLetDie'' where Bond sleeps with inept CIA agent Rosie Carver....then pulls a gun on her, revealing he knows she's actually TheMole for BigBad Kananga. He threatens to kill her if she does'nt spill what she knows; when she says he would'nt do that, they've just made love, he replies:
