Is not just the protagonist who suffers the effects of the gossipy students, but some of his teammates too: The previously mentioned teacher started telling everyone about Ryuji Sakamoto's abusive father, which let to Ryuji hitting him in a fit of anger and getting his leg broken in return, with the school calling it self-defense and all of the other students gossiping about him being just like his father, Ann Takami suffers from SlutShaming because of her good looks, her part time job as a model and being quarter-american, and rumors about her are just what you might expect from her suffering from SlutShaming, and Makoto Niijima, who always does what the faculty members tell her to do because she is always told to "be useful", has the students label her as a TeachersPet who is only looking for a letter of recomendation for college.
