* One ''Franchise/JusticeLeagueOfAmerica'' story begins with ''seven'' Supervillains all hitting on the same "attack the White House" scheme at once and promptly get into a huge fight over who thought of it first. The JLA arrives to find the bad guys beating each other up and pretty much just stand back to watch.

* ''Film/NiteTalesTheMovie'': In the short story "Karma", a crew of bank robbers accidentally arrive to the home of a CannibalClan during their getaway from a heist. For further [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin karmic]] points, the cannibals are family of a guard the robbers killed in the heist, and thus [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge want the robbers to die screaming a lot more than usual.]]

* ''[[Fanfic/SixesAndSevens Agent Carter: Phantom Pain]]'' is a tangled web full of these. The criminal factions are pushed by Joseph Manfredi (who wants to protect Whitney along with his usual organized crime), the Council of Nine (trying to keep their control of American Society after Whitney's mess), Cassandra Romulus (the same HYDRA power play, as well as obtain an ancient doomsday relic), Whitney Frost (who's still trying to master the Zero Matter), Michael Carter (who killed Thompson and is acting as a rogue agent from British Intelligence), and the FBI (who simply want to stop Peggy and her team at every corner). By the halfway point they've all interfered with each other in some way.
** Manfredi's operations [[spoiler: lend their help to Peggy after they determine Manfredi is in danger]].
** Cassandra Romulus [[spoiler: kills the Council of Nine (aside from those loyal to her) and turns out to have the feds in her pocket already]].
** Whitney Frost [[spoiler: is possessed by the Zero Matter itself and does...''something'' to Manfredi]].

If they took some InnocentBystanders for hostages, then both kidnapped and kidnappers are [[EnemyMine going to have to work together]] if they want to get out alive. Usually though, this threat is so grave they fast forward past StockholmSyndrome and/or LimaSyndrome and develop [[FireForgedFriends true loyalty for each other]] that can last a lifetime. If they survive, that is.

* The film ''Film/{{Flypaper}}'' has two robber gangs (a couple of StupidCrooks and somewhat more competent commando-type thieves [[spoiler:and it's eventually revealed that a famous cat burglar had been working on the inside for a while prior as a cashier]]) barging into a bank and taking the people inside hostage while they try to rob different parts of it (after a while of going through a MexicanStandoff and then declaring "ThisIsMySide, this is your side")... and then it turns out that they were both baited into robbing the bank on the same day by a criminal mastermind Chessmaster that wanted to use all of them as chaff for his own heist (and the murder of a DirtyCop accomplice that had outlived his usefulness) and KillEmAll afterwards.
