* ScienceIsBad: In the first two books of the series, most of the bad guys come from the Erudite faction, the faction for scientists and knowledge-seekers. Many of the Erudite characters that we see are villainous [[spoiler:even Caleb turns out to be a traitor]]. Most of the bad things that happen in ''Divergent'' and ''Insurgent'' (e.g. the Abnegation Genocide) are a result of the devious scheming of the Erudite leadership, and it's implied they have a hand in corrupting members from other factions to their cause. The second book in the trilogy, ''Insurgent'', was released on May 1, 2012. The third and final installment, ''Allegiant'' was released October 22, 2013. There are also a series of four ebooks that show Four's story from his point of view: ''The Transfer'' (Sept 3, 2013), ''The Initiate'' (Dec 17, 2013), ''The Son'' (Jan 21, 2014), and ''The Traitor'' (Feb 11, 2014), with these stories being collected in the book ''Four: A Divergent Collection'', released on July 8th, 2014.
