Does the Star-Making Role trope really apply for the movies? Is it really accurate to say that the films "shot Shailene Woodley to superstardom and put Theo James on the map"? Shailene Woodley is not exactly a superstar and Theo James has done what, exactly, since the franchise?
I read the page thing and I still don't know what the five different factions do. Sure, there are links to "related" pages, but I highly doubt the Dauntless are all insane (as it links to Psycho for Hire); Abnegation links to Hufflepuff House and another one links to Butt-Monkey. Sure, these are fun inside jokes for people that have read the books, but it just leaves me confused.
It's not really the links that are the problem, it's the fact that it's never explained in full what each faction is supposed to represent. And, considering that the faction thing is the main conceit of the books, I believe that should be on the main page.
Erudite and Candor's were fine but I picked out ones which seem to represent them better. Not 100% sure that they are the best tropes but they fit well enough.
Hey guys. Just watched the movie, haven't read the book or any of the following books, and came to this page to find out what you guys thought it would be like, and any differences between the book and the film. However, it's rife with spoilers for later books. Shouldn't those spoilers be put in on their respective pages so that those of us who only know of the first installment can read this safely?
