The ''Literature/{{Goosebumps}} [=SlappyWorld=]'' book where kids go on a treasure hunt, and Slappy has a diary.

Billy and Maggie [=McGee=] and their dad have recently moved to a new town, where Mr. [=McGee=] works at the town dump. While there one day, Billy and Maggie discover a suitcase containing Slappy the dummy, and accidentally revive him. However, they also find his diary, which contains a mention of something called "the gold", which they believe could be a treasure that would solve all their financial problems. Seeking out the gold, with Slappy on their trail, they soon find "the gold" is not what they expected...
