* Ironwood and Qrow's interactions while working under Ozpin sometimes come off as sheer BelligerentSexualTension, as they look for any opportunity to bicker at each other. Near the end of volume 3, though, it turns out their relationship is actually quite good and friendly outside their work, both are confirmed to think very highly of each other and actually like each other. Ironwood tries to minimize any damage he might do to Qrow while defending himself when he thinks Qrow will attack him, but as it turns out, Qrow actually runs past him in order to save him from a Griffin. After that, he states in a very soft and friendly tone that he believes Ironwood would never do something bad. As it turns out, "Jimmy" is also Qrow's AffectionateNickname to Ironwood, not just a way to pick fun of him.

Most of the franchise works had their own YMMV pages so I've moved the manga and comic entries over to their correct pages.

* In chapter one, Ruby describes her teammates in brief, summarizing her relationship to Yang and the read she gets on Blake, before gushing praise for Weiss' hard-working nature and how accomplished she is.
* When Ruby's narration muses on the beauty of life, the text is framed in the same panel as Weiss, similar to previous moments mentioned such as her V4 letter or Maria's instruction in V6.
** The same narration talking about the beauty and color of life also mentions stories; the comic opens on a young Ruby describing her love of stories.

* The official manga by Shirow Miwa has a few moments between the two; such as Weiss encouraging Ruby as their team leader giving her the confidence to beat Cardin in a training match, and later Ruby taking a hit for Weiss during their fight with the Hydra-Grimm before they use their [=IceFlower=] attack to bring it down. After the fight, Weiss admonishes Ruby for scratching at the wound she got shielding her, warning her it might scar; Ruby cheerfully noting that if it did scar, then they'd be like mirror images of one another. Weiss actually looks away, seeming to hide a LuminescentBlush at the comment.
* The Volume 1 manga adaptation by Bunta Kinami focuses heavily on Ruby and Weiss' interactions at the start, making many of them more dramatic and intense where they were mostly comical in the show.
** The morning of initiation, Ruby watches Jaune striking out with Weiss from afar; remarking to Yang that she's jealous of Jaune's confidence while staring at Weiss.
** After rejecting both Ruby and Jaune as potential partners, Weiss comes across an Ursa which she intends to take her frustrations out on. She fails to notice a second get behind her, expecting to be struck down before Ruby appears and saves her, with the two quickly regrouping to take on the Grimm together.
** Like in the show, Weiss saves Ruby when she tries to take on a Deathstalker alone, declaring that the two of them are a pair after having earlier questioned if they'd be able to work together.
** Chapter 4 opens with Ruby getting right up in Weiss' face, teasing her for being so cooperative compared to earlier, before thanking her for saving her with a huge smile, leaving Weiss blushing furiously. Later on, when they're getting into position to attack the Nevermore, Blake comments on Weiss saving Ruby's life, and how remarkable it is that Ruby seems to trust her so much already, despite their rocky start.
** Compared to the show, Chapter 5 portrays Weiss as being far more impressed with Ruby taking the lead in their fight with the Nevermore. While conducting Blake mid-air with her glyphs, she's preoccupied thinking about how easily Ruby was able to analyze both their Semblances, and concoct a plan to use both perfectly; concluding that it was appropriate she was skipped ahead after all. When Ruby gets discouraged when her first plan fails to down the Nevermore, it's Weiss who reassures her, expressing confidence in her ability to devise another plan, emphasizing that they would overcome the Grimm together, making Ruby blush. Yang even calls the behavior "gallant." Afterwards, when they have officially been declared Team RWBY, Weiss actually appears proud of Ruby's appointment to leader, contrasting her shock and dismay in the original show.
** Chapter 6 starts with the two arguing LikeAnOldMarriedCouple over Ruby swiping one of Weiss' notebooks after neglecting to take her own notes in several classes. As Yang and Blake look on, Yang comments that they're at it again, while Blake muses that she thinks they actually enjoy bickering with one another.
** Chapter 9 adapts the V2 food fight, including Ruby cradling Weiss' seemingly comatose body, crying out that she will have vengeance. This was kept in, while all of Weiss' interactions with Neptune were constrained to speech-bubbles, never shown actually talking to one another, or even appearing in the same panel.
** Chapter 10 opens with an image of Ruby appearing to be flexing to impress Weiss, and later has her joke about introducing her to her parents.
* The manga anthology "Red Like Roses" contains several comics which focus heavily on Ruby and Weiss' relationship:
** One comic has Ruby decide that, in the vein of many adventure heroes, she needs a love interest. After dismissing every guy in Beacon for one reason or another, she teases Weiss about being jealous and even starts to flirt with her. She even holds her chin up and leans close to her, all while puckering her lips.
** In another comic, Mercury gets Ruby to dance with him at a party, who is clearly uncomfortable with his advances. A disgusted Weiss pushes him away, and Ruby comments how she's kind of a "knight in shining armor". As they're leaving the party, Weiss echoes Ruby's own thoughts about how she'd rather be studying or practicing than attending the party, leading her to comment that she's glad they're partners.
** Another comic has Weiss getting angry with Ruby after she got their team's roaming privileges revoked for getting in a fight with Cardin. When she runs into Cardin in the halls, she discovers Ruby only fought him in the first place because he'd insulted Weiss' scar; which she very nearly does again when he does so to her face. Weiss calms her down, forgiving her and thanking her for her friendship; gifting her a handkerchief she used to wipe her tears when she got emotional.
** In one gag comic strip, Ruby starts referring to her teammates as "Sister" (Yang), "Friend" (Blake), and she gives Weiss the title of "Wife". This makes Weiss blush, and a confused Ruby asks, "Why are you blushing?!"
* Like "Red Like Roses" before it, Weiss' "Mirror Mirror" manga anthology also contains a number of comics which focus on her relationship with Ruby.
** The very first comic has Weiss finishing up a study session, when Ruby appears to offer to share some cookies she'd made. Weiss reflects on how lonely her life was before coming to Beacon, and how Ruby changed that, before offering to make them both coffee. When she deduces that Ruby hadn't finished her homework, she then offers to help while the two eat.
** The idea of Ruby being the one to help Weiss break out of her lonely shell gets repeated in several comics throughout the book. Another has her sulking over feeling inferior to her sister after not making team leader, only to realize how ridiculous her line of thinking was just seeing Ruby smile. When Ruby offers to make her coffee like she had for her, there's even a visual of two mugs arranged like a heart.
** Another comic in this vein sees Weiss spend the day in a daze after having a nightmare about returning to her old, lonely life. She snaps out of it when Ruby talks to her and reassures her that she's not alone, even in that very moment.
** In a comic where Weiss has to skip class after falling ill, Ruby at first tries to skip too, to keep her company, but gets dragged to class anyway. When Weiss falls asleep and has a dream about how Winter used to keep her from being lonely when she fell sick before, she wakes up to find that Ruby had returned to stay by her bedside. While Ruby offers to read her a story, Weiss thinks about how she thought she wanted to be alone, but that maybe she really did want her close.
** The second comic has Weiss harshly turning down a guy trying to ask her out, meeting up with Ruby instead. When she muses on how much she hates the nickname "Princess", which even Ruby had called her, because of how she thinks it focuses more on her wealthy family than herself. Ruby responds by telling her she'd think of her as a princess, even if she weren't a Schnee.
** When Ruby and Weiss see Velvet being bullied by Cardin while studying, Weiss rushes to save her after she gets knocked out a window, getting a bit beat-up in the process. Afterwards, Ruby bandages her, telling her how cool she was and how proud she is to have her as a teammate.
** Going to do some training on her own after thinking her teammates are slacking leading up to the Vytal Festival, Weiss winds up sulking as she wonders if they're really coming together as a team. When she spots Team JNPR walking by, she briefly imagines her team as a pair of couples like they are, blushing at the thought.
** In a sequence of 4koma strips, Weiss denies being Ruby's "BFF", yet the thought gets so stuck in her head she winds up thinking about it all night long.
** In a comic where Yang and Blake grow suspicious of Weiss sneaking out at night, thinking she might be seeing someone in secret, it's revealed that she was actually going out to train Zwei. Ruby then reveals that she knew what was going on the whole time because obviously she knew that Weiss didn't have a boyfriend.

The Official Manga looks like it's being set up with its own sub-pages. It's already got Characters and Trivia pages to itself. I'd recommend being consistent and giving it its own separate YMMV page, too. The Comic Book already has its own YMMV page, so I've moved the comic book entry there.

* In Manga/RWBYTheOfficialManga, Weiss apologizes to Blake after they're reunited. She's blushing (in embarrassment) while apologizing. Weiss then gets upset at Yang when Yang tells Blake about how worried Weiss was.
* In ComicBook/RWBY, Weiss mentions wanting Blake to look at her. She glances at Blake as she walks away, then the next panel shows Blake glancing at Weiss while she walks away.

* Weiss got Blake, and only Blake, a customized dust cartridge for her weapon.
* Blake and Weiss have a lot of chemistry while fighting. Their Volume 2 combination attack required a lot of coordination to pull off and they had a BackToBackBadasses moment later.
* In Volume 6, Weiss is the first one to react when Cardovin says something racist towards Blake.
* It's possible to interpret "Wings" in a Weiss/Blake light. The song is about Blake and a few of the lyrics refer to Weiss mentioning that she spent twelve hours looking for Blake.

* In Volume 6 Episode 5, when Ruby has finished seeing Blake and Yang out the door, she turns to see Weiss waiting for her, having left the comfort of the fire despite seeming extremely cold. She then suggests the two look for food together, which seems to help cheer Weiss up a little bit. When Ruby suggests that they look for some food, Weiss looks briefly disappointed, giving the impression that she might have been hoping for something else from Ruby. This episode also showcases a clear distinction between the current state of their partnership in comparison to Blake and Yang. While Yang was reluctant to spend time alone with Blake, Weiss wanted to be by Ruby's side, and Ruby was happy to bring her along to search for food. While things in this episode ended on a sour note for Yang and Blake, Weiss expresses her doubts regarding their mission which seems to scare Ruby. While both still clearly have concerns, Weiss tries to reassure Ruby and change the subject, and neither storm off as Yang had. Additionally, Weiss shares Ruby's concern regarding her Uncle Qrow's alcoholism.
