** Ray Bulgarin was presented as an intimidating mob boss in his initial appearances in ''IV'', holding a murderous grudge to Niko, blaming him for the loss of his diamonds for escaping a sinking boat of his. In this game, he initally shows a more eccentric side to him, even for his violence, arrogance and casual homophobia. That all takes a backseat when Luis and Tony end up unwittingly taking his diamonds, diamonds; Bulgarin murders a chef who sold them, "surprising" Luis with the Chef's severed head, before repeatedly trying to kill Tony and Luis, and implicitly murders his own sister for annoying him.
