* ShamefulStrip: The rape victim's girlfriend is wearing a particularly nice sweater which one of the gang fancies, so they make her take it off at gunpoint and hand it over. Then she's forced to take her skirt off too. The girls leave her tied up in the back seat of the car wearing just a slip.

Added DiffLines:

* DeliverUsFromEvil: Paula ends up getting pregnant by the man she forcibly had sexual intercourse with during one of her robberies. Although she is mentioned as feeling uncomfortable and having some cramps, she doesn't learn she's actually carrying a baby until she's in prison, making this a LatePregnancyRealization as well.

* DeathByChildbirth: Paula isn't feeling well prior to the birth or her rape victim's kid (there are a couple of hints that it's a difficult pregnancy), and dies during the birth.

''The Violent Years'' is a 1956 {{Glurge}}fest bringing us the story of one young Paula Parkins. She has it all on the surface... money, things, a lovely house, beauty and youth. However, the movie posits, she lacks the most important thing: true parental attention.

Arc Words: Not an example. Hell, it barely even qualifies as a catchphrase... Gainax Ending: Misuse? Also the entry doesn't explain what makes it an example (and besides the movie doesn't even end at that line, weird as it is). Getting Crap Past The Radar: Whatever was here before is gone now and having the entry just tell people to edit in a proper example seems odd. Having seen the movie I can't think of anything that actually fits the definition (and it if applied to riffs brought on by the MST 3 K version then it needs to go on that episode's recap page). Sedwick Speech: Misapplied (the character saying the line wasn't giving any sort of Rousing Speech, she was just making an observation). Tempting Fate is more appropriate. Step Three Profit: Replaced the South Park joke with actual context. Sweater Girl: Considering Paula's physique isn't that significantly different from her compatriots in the film, despite being played by a model, then if she qualifies, then so do her friends. That said, Sheila seems to a much more clearer example here.
