** It's really hard to tell if this is a TrollFic or not. The author denies being a troll repeatedly (but then again, so do most trolls), and there's a lot of people who also claim he's not. But there are so many over-the-top, offensive Christian and conservative stereotypes, funny misspellings, and obvious [[CriticalResearchFailure Critical Research Failures]], that it's hard NOT to believe he's a troll. The ''Fanfic/MyImmortal'' parallels in ''Battle With the Witches'' doesn't help.

* ArtisticLicenseHistory: Apparently, Soviet Russia was ruled by ''[[CriticalResearchFailure John Lennon]]''. To make matters worse, he is referred to by his full name ''every time he is mentioned''.

* BusmansHoliday: Chapter 7 takes place on St. Patrick's Day. During their ob servance of the holiday, Draco's team winds up having to fight another demon ([[CriticalResearchFailure ...St. George]]).

* MileHighClub[=/=]MakingLoveInAllTheWrongPlaces: Averted. Draco and Ginny don't have sex while on the plane, because "that is wrong to do it on a public areas since [[SexIsEvil sex is a sin]] and should be done private and because they are not married yet. [[RetCon Draco has never married before and he has never had a divorce]]."

** Our heroes are every negative stereotype of Christianity ever, ramped UpToEleven. Remember that whole "Forgive Thy Neighbor" and "Thou Shalt Not Kill"[[note]]Technically it's "Thou shall not murder", a difference that has been historically used to justify killings in name of Christianity. It's still murder, though[[/note]] thing Jesus loved to talk about so much? Well, according to the author it apparently translates to "Murder Everyone Who Believes Anything Even Slightly Different In The Most Barbaric Fashion Imaginable."

* HollywoodSatanism: Take every negative stereotype of Satanism ever, and ramp it UpToEleven. You've got the villains in the story.

* AbsenteeActor: Rarity is the only one of the Mane Six who doesn't appear in The Prayer Ponies, with no explanation as to why. Most of the other fics made at least a token effort to include the main cast, even if they're not in character.

* HistoricalVillainUpgrade: Music/JohnLennon gets a pretty big one, due to him getting mixed up with UsefulNotes/VladimirLenin.

** Our heroes in the worst sense of the word. They are absolutely horrible about condemning something, [[MoralDissonance and then immediately going and doing that thing]], without so much as a "It's okay when we do it!"

* MoralDissonance: The heroes are fond of denouncing something, and then doing that exact thing a moment later. Like saying ScienceIsBad, and then using chemistry to kill poisonous plants.

* TrollFic: Like ''Naruto Veangance Revelaitons'', nobody really knows, but as the [[CrossesTheLineTwice line gets crossed more and more]], the ''Fanfic/MyImmortal'' {{Shout Out}}s become more frequent, and the plot becomes [[ShockingSwerve increasingly convoluted]], the chance of [=BelieverInChrist=] being a troll rises significantly. Ebony has confessed to being a troll, increasing the chances of Thomas being one. This makes Noah's HeelFaceTurn all the more confusing.

The characters - who are already AxCrazy - become more and more spiteful and sadistic (such as defiling bodies by urinating on them, hoping Molly Weasley will miscarry, and cackling about sending people to Hell) In ''Battle With the Witches'', curses were introduced, and a few F-Bombs were even dropped. Finally, in ''Threat of Satanic Commonism'', the BeigeProse beheadings were replaced with graphic depictions of the Prayer Warriors mutilating their opponents in cold blood
** As of the latest chapters of ''The Titans Strike Back'' and ''Attack of the Sphinx,'' the heroes seem more focused on converting people than killing everyone who stands in their way, even if everyone is about as OutOfCharacter as before. Time will tell where this leads.

* AuthorFilibuster: Very much. For example, in the middle of a chapter, the author mentions that people who aren't baptized can't go to church, and goes on a tangent about all Christians should pray no matter where they are or who tries to stop them.
** The worst example is the four "sermons" at the end of the compilation. Originally a massive rant posted on the author's profile, it has since been placed in Percy's mouth and repackaged as a four chapter "fanfic."
* AxCrazy: The Prayer Warriors in general.
