* Niwe, TheCaligula from ''{{Utawarerumono}}'', is known by fans for his intensely annoying "GYAH KA KA KA KA KAT" laugh. He would occasionally use it more than once per episode. Apparently, he was known for it by characters too, since just when Hakuoro thought they were rid of Niwe, his laugh returns with a vengeance in his dreams.

* ''FushigiYuugi's'' [[TheDragon Tomo]], surprisingly, does this more often than [[BigBad Nakago]], who can't even match up to the former's signature laugh ("Kakakakakakaka!"). [[VillainProtagonist Mayo Sakaki]], for a bratty 16-year-old, has an evil laugh creepier than Nakago's.

* Mega and Giga in ''TransformersSuperGodMasterforce'' occasionally indulge in evil laughter. Mega's evil laugh doubles as a NoblewomansLaugh.

** Accelerator gets these pretty often. In the anime they sound freakishly high pitched and mixed in with a kind of coughing noise, to further illustrate how unhinged he is. Then there's that... * Supervillains ({{Heel}} wrestlers) in ''{{Kinnikuman}}'' tend to have very distinctive laughs. There are many examples, but some of the best examples are those of DittoFighter Stecase King ("Kekekekekeke!") and JokeCharacter villain Kinkotsuman ("Muhyohyohyooo!")

* [[MadScientist Desty Nova]] from ''[[{{Gunnm}} Battle Angel Alita]]'' tends to enjoy this trope.

* Kururu from ''KeroroGunsou'' tends to evilly laugh "ku-ku-ku!" when [[HilarityEnsues something unfortunate but amusing happens]] to another character, especially if he was the one responsible.

* Most villains in ''Anime/YuGiOh'' tend to have an evil laugh, but Yami Bakura's stands out the most. In the [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam original series]], he does this when setting up the unfortunate death of his own best friend, Garma Zabi, for revenge for his father. In ''CharsCounterattack'', he does a grand one after losing to [[TheHero Amuro Ray]] in their final duel but successfully dropping a half of Axis onto Earth.

** Also parodied in one of the specials. [[{{Determinator}} Yukimura]] gets the idea that his team has to have more fun while playing. [[ArrogantKungFuGuy Sanada]] and the aforementioned [[BloodKnight Kirihara]] promptly try to please, revealing that those two just '''CAN'T''' ''laugh normally''. Poor Yukimura has no choice but to give up.
* One thing that didn't get touched upon in the anime is that Guts of ''{{Manga/Berserk}}'' can pull off a ''terrifying'' Evil Laugh, which he did most prominently in his Black Swordsman phase when [[spoiler:he worked in concert with the Beast of Darkness spawned from his horrific experience during the Eclipse]].
