The funny part is that Charlie, being the daughter of [[{{Satan}} Lucifer]], [[DemonLordsAndArchdevils technically outranks him.]] She's also GenreSavvy enough to do her best to [[DefiedTrope Defy]] the trope: she refuses to make an explicit deal with him and instead ''orders'' him to help out... for as long as he desires.

* ''Wiki/SCPFoundation'':

** [[http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-4166 SCP-4166]] was a girl who made a deal with the devil seeking protection from the PedophilePriest abusing her. In return she was turned into a {{succubus}} that requires 1 cc of human semen a week to live while being accosted by shadowy demons on a regular basis.

* In ''Literature/FateByBlades'' there is a devil-esque figure who makes deals with mortals, often with the condition that someone involved with said deal take a HornyDevil consort. The opening antagonist, Gilliam, does this but later breaks his end of the deal, causing his whole rebellion to fail, while Lucas makes a similar deal to acquire a demonic consort to tempt Kona over to his side. Lucas is more successful as Kona ends up joining him.

** One of the Bad Seeds, Nephandus, is well-known for making deals with malevolent entities from Beyond. Too bad for his ally Jobe that he didn't think to ask Nephandus for help when [[GenderBender she]] tried the same thing with her arch-enemy [[HornyDevil Carmilla]].

* ''WebVideo/DoctorHorriblesSingAlongBlog'': an interesting twist version of the Ordeal, where the Mephistopheles's (Bad Horse) offer to the Faustus (Billy) is, effectively, to ''help rule "Hell"'' if he'll just kill one person, ''anyone'' (but don't back out- [[ImpliedDeathThreat then the blood on the ground might be his]])... the Faustus accepts, believing he will be able to use this authority to reconstruct a better world, but by carrying out his assignment ends up abandoning his original motivations, ethics, and, indeed, [[TitleDrop everything he ever]] made the deal for in the first place... which was, presumably, the point of the ordeal to begin with. Ladies and gentlemen, Dr. Faustus: The Musical!

* Kyle from Literature/StatlessAndTactless considers any deal made with Joe to be a devil's bargain. The fact Joe is clearly evil and makes his posts in red text doesn't help.

The price paid for a deal is something intended to cause emotional pain to the person making the deal, like the death of a best friend or losing all memories of one's mother. Interestingly, when a test subject who is severely mentally handicapped is sent in to make a deal, the entity accepts the ridiculous terms (a sloppy joe sandwich for a toy)... [[NobleDemon but then sighs in regret once it's complete]]. And when they sent one of their [[EvilLawyerJoke lawyers]] in, the result was a 900+ page document detailing the terms of the deal, which didn't even get finished because the lawyer collapsed from exhaustion after spending 41 hours negotiating with the entity. When the lawyer woke up, he found a note in his pocket: "[[WorthyOpponent Please come back any time. I haven't had so much fun in years]]."
