''Geek Girl'' is a 2016 British small press {{Superhero}} comic published by Markosia Enterprises. Geek Girl is the creation of writer Sam Johnson with Carlos Granda doing the artwork.

Set in the US state of Maine, the titular superheroine is a college girl named Ruby Kaye who ends up [[ItMakesSenseInContext winning a pair of technologically enhanced eyeglasses from an inventor in a strip poker game]]. Skeptical of the inventor's claims of the glasses endowing its wearer with superpowers, Ruby
[[ClothesMakeTheSuperman tries on the glasses and find that they do indeed work]]. She even punches out an attacker with her newfound strength. With the help of her fashion designer friend, Summer, Ruby gets a costume and becomes the superheroine "Geek Girl".

Geek Girl is later out on patrol when she encounters one of Maine's resident superheroes, Neon Girl, battling the enigmatic villainess Lightning Storm. Lightning Storm ends up beating Neon Girl so badly that the latter gets hospitalized. Geek Girl then gets charged with finding and stopping Lightning Storm. And the adventures go on from there, with Geek Girl adjusting to her abilities and dealing with a variety of rogues.

!!This comic book contains examples of the following tropes:

* ActionGirl: Geek Girl is this as she'll physically fight it out with her super strength.
* AnimalThemedSuperbeing: Maine's other resident superhero, Pit Bull.
* BlackBestFriend: Summer to Ruby Kaye/Geek Girl
* ClothesMakeTheSuperman: Geek Girl gets her powers from a pair of eyeglasses.
* CuteClumsyGirl: Ruby when she's Geek Girl. Justified in that she's not fully used to the powers bestowed by her glasses.
* CurbStompBattle: Thanks to her SuperStrength, Geek Girl makes short work of some opponents like two costumed villains robbing a store.
* HeroOfAnotherStory: Maine's other resident superheroes, Neon Girl and Pit Bull. Implied especially with Pit Bull, as he talks to a bar crowd about villains he battled.
* HeroKiller: Downplayed with Lightning Storm; she simply injures Neon Girl and Pit Bull so bad that they are hospitalized rather than killed.
* HollywoodNewEngland: Set in the state of Maine
* {{Meganekko}}: Ruby Kaye when she's Geek Girl
* MostCommonSuperpower: Geek Girl shows plenty of cleavage.
* PrimaryColorChampion: Geek Girl wears red and yellow.
* ShockAndAwe: Lightning Storm
* StockSuperpowers: Geek Girl possesses primarily SuperStrength, {{Flight}} and SuperSpeed.
* {{Stripperific}}: Geek Girl's outfit - cleavage? Check. [[BareYourMidriff Exposed midriff]]? Check. UnderwearOfPower? Check. Justified as the outfit was designed by Ruby's fashion designer friend, Summer; Summer even lampshades the outfit's sexiness.
* SymbolSwearing: Plenty of it.
