One of the ghosts from ''VideoGame/PacMan'' debuts in the Franchise/DisneyAnimatedCanon with a secondary job as the host of the Bad-Anon meetings at his own home. Calm and collected, Clyde helps the others deal with their self-esteem issues, as their villainous roles, and consequent unpopularity, has taken quite the toll on the spirit they do their jobs with, although discouraging any thought of trying to play a different role. Like Coily, Eggman, and Bison below, Clyde appears alongside the hero opposing him, as Pac-Man himself makes a cameo in another point of the movie.

In fact, there's been some speculation about the character's identity when scans of a book adaptation of the movie surfaced online, given the presence of Cyborg among the Bad-Anon attendants despite said book only featuring Disney's own characters. This is a tricky one to describe. Simply put, the so-called "Cyborg" is essentially Kano from the gory, M-rated, and not-at-all-Disney-like ''Franchise/MortalKombat'' franchise. However, in the movie, this Bad-Anon attendant is referred to as "Cyborg" for some reason. Most likely, this choice is supposed to avoid any close association between the Disney movie where Kano appears in and the latter's source material; going by this theory, we might say that "Cyborg" is actually a Disney-verse version of Kano. An authorized CaptainErsatz, if you will.

* PurpleIsTheNewBlack: [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]] in Neff's official bio on the film's site, as reported above. Interestingly, he's only purple in his home game when he ShowsDamage; he's normally gray.

A reprisal is a retaliatory attack; this is now Role Reprise. It's also Trivia/.

* BadassBaritone: Thanks to Gerald C. Rivers' RoleReprisal for this movie, Bison's only line (quoted under his picture here) is spoken in the deepest voice you can imagine.

* RoleReprisal:
** Creator/KyleHebert and Creator/ReubenLangdon are back.
** Averted in the Japanese dub, although more of an ironic CastingGag with a very [[HilariousInHindsight hilarious twist]]: Ryu is voiced by Taketora, rather than Creator/HirokiTakahashi, in this movie. The hilarity came with the fact he voiced (at least in Videogame/StreetFighterIV) Ryu's arch-nemesis: '''Akuma'''.

Other than being [[AdvertisedExtra advertised]] a lot, the Sonic cameo also appears a few more times throughout the movie, again, much in the same vein as Q*Bert. Unlike Q*Bert, however, Sonic's appearance is part of a deal between Disney and Sega: in exchange for Sonic's cameo, Ralph himself will appear as a [[GuestFighter Guest Racer]] in Sega's ''[[VideoGame/SegaSuperstars Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed]]''; however, this part of the deal also granted Creator/RogerCraigSmith in English and Creator/JunichiKanemaru in the Japanese dub to [[RoleReprisal deliver their respective lines in their languages as Sonic]], which is another reason why this cameo has been met with such praise.

* RoleReprisal:
** Creator/RogerCraigSmith returns as Sonic. The Latin American dub has him played by Yamil Atala, who voiced Sonic in ''WesternAnimation/SonicUnderground''.[[note]]In this case this is justified, because ''WesternAnimation/SonicUnderground'' was the last animated series based in ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' dubbed in Mexico, as [[Anime/{{SonicX}} later]] [[WesternAnimation/SonicBoom series]] were dubbed in South American countries instead. Disney, on the other hand, tends to dub their animated movies, with few exceptions, in Mexico, albeit this rule doesn't apply for animated series.[[/note]]
** Ditto with Creator/JunichiKanemaru in the Japanese dub and being the ''only'' Japanese voice actor who reprised his role from all the characters from Japanese-developed games.

Added DiffLines:

*** His explaining the Internet to Ralph and Vanellope is also akin to the aforementioned cartoon's ''Sonic Sez'' segments.

Added DiffLines:

* SmallRoleBigImpact: In ''Ralph Breaks the Internet'', he only makes a brief appearance at the beginning to explain the concepts of Wi-Fi and the Internet to Ralph and Vanellope. This knowledge, however, helps Ralph and Vanellope to get the idea of going on the internet to save Sugar Rush.

* MassOhCrap: When Ralph announces he doesn't "want to be the bad guy anymore", especially due to how the rest of the group is otherwise faithful to each one's job -- despite the unpopularity coming with it. Then again, this is what happens with most Disney movies dealing with a radical change in an established order.

[[spoiler: They also all know that if a villain "goes Turbo" that their game can't run properly and risks being deemed broken and will be unplugged, resulting in CessationOfExistence for the characters still inside it.]]
