* GoodPeopleHaveGoodSex: Eliza reflects briefly on her intimacy with Aisling with great fondness, and when she's with Hardestadt Delac in flashback, the two are extremely warm, passionate and caring with one another. [[spoiler: Elaborated on in ''Only A Lonely Heart''. The two had an exceptionally fulfilling, caring love life when they were together.]]

[[spoiler:Michael is actually a descendant of a race of BenevolentPrecursors named the Seers, who aren't established as being able to look into the future but ''are'' able to glean knowledge by casting our their mental avatars to faraway places and other dimensions entirely. When Michael dies and resurrects as a half-Seer, he gains these powers for himself.]]

* {{Seer}}: [[spoiler:Like Michael, Daniel turns out to be a descendant of the Seers and is forcefully awakened by the Consultant. Unfortunately for him, his children are also this – which puts him on the Consultant's list as a vital tool to its plan.]]

* BadassGay: Eliza confirms in ''And To All A Good Night'' that she's proudly bisexual and is a moral, strong person who has helped people take down a sadistic fallen goddess and has saved countless lives.

* BiTheWay: While she's married to a man in 1670, and at the very least is forcing herself to pretend to enjoy all that goes with that, Eliza reveals in ''The Englishman'' her true love was a female Irish Seer named Aisling. Confirmed in ''And To All A Good Night'' when she happily states she likes men and women, and was also the lover of Hardestadt Delac in the past.
