Princess Kamikamowake Ikazuchi, or simply known as the Princess of the Underworld, is the first occupant of Underworld, and sits at the top of the demons' hierarchy, even above the three rulers. She was first introduced

* AuthorityInNameOnly: Zigzagged. Despite her title, the Princess doesn't actually govern underworld, and the ruling authority is held by the Three Major Powers. However, the three rulers does respect her, and is willing to concede to her requests to a certain extent.
* BarrierMaiden: The Princess's primary function in the Underworld is to create a barrier around its perimeter to protect the territory from outside influences (i.e. curses, parasites, etc. that can disrupt the citizens' safety).
* StrongFamilyResemblance: She looks almost exactly like her brother, [[spoiler:Yahiko]].
* TenderTears: She cries before the Master and employees of the Mononokean right after telling them how much she really misses her friend [[spoiler:and potential successor, Aoi]].
