* CatchPhrase: "[[NiceJobBreakingItHero Not cool, (insert character’s name, usually Sonic)]]". He usually say this [[ComicallyMissingThePoint missing the point]].

* BadassAdorable: He hasn't lost any of his cuteness from the main series, and his gadgets arguably make him even more badass.

* ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything: While they'll battle anything Eggman-related that comes their way, all they really want to do is jerk off for a while. Played straight in "Mister Eggman" when Eggman's rubber gasket heist gets out of hand:

* TheSmartGuy: The smartest member of the four, as usual.

* ArmedFemalesUnarmedMales: Team Sonic consists of three guys (Sonic, Tails and Knuckles) and [[TwoGirlsToATeam two girls]] (Amy and Sticks). Amy uses her signature [[DropTheHammer hammer]], while Sticks uses a variety of weapons including a staff, a club and a [[BattleBoomerang boomerang]]. Among the boys, only Tails uses weapons.

* LaserGuidedKarma: ''Into the Wilderness'': Despite Amy and Sticks helping the boys behind the scenes, Sonic walks off snickering about their predicament when they're stuck in a hole. [[spoiler:Said hole is a missile silo, which helps the girls win the race.]]

* ATasteOfDefeat: Into The Wilderness ends with him losing his ent with Sticks and Amy. See LaserGuidedKarma above.

* ATasteOfDefeat: At least two episodes have ended with him sharing the ButtMonkey role with Eggman after getting too egomaniacal (see LaserGuidedKarma above).

* JerkassHasAPoint: In ''Just A Guy'' he points out how unfair it is that despite saving [[UngratefulBastard the village]] from Eggman on a near weekly basis, they practically take Sonic's heroism for granted and throw him under the bus over even [[DisproportionateRetribution the most minor of slights.]] As such it's hard to blame the guy for wanting to quit being a hero, [[TenMinuteRetirement even if he does go back by the end of the episode.]]

* LaserGuidedKarma: Sonic is usually on top for his heroism. Odd times when he acts like a JerkAss, however, usually backfire on him:
** ''Into the Wilderness'': Despite Amy and Sticks helping the boys behind the scenes, Sonic walks off snickering about their predicament when they're stuck in a hole. [[spoiler:Said hole is a missile silo, which helps the girls win the race.]]
** ''Designated Heroes'': [[spoiler:Sonic tries to hog the glory for caging Eggman at the end after the group get him ensnared. They proceed to disable the barrier long enough to stuff Sonic in there with him.]]

* BareYourMidriff: Her default outfit leaves her midsection exposed. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]], as she's jungle survivalist.

* SlapstickKnowsNoGender: Subverted in ''Rise of Lyric'', and ''only'' that (see ThreePointLanding). The show's Amy has, among other things, been torched by Knuckles' fire breath, shot out of a cannon into a palm tree, and been thrown in as a sad clown for a circus act.

* SlapstickKnowsNoGender: Even if she tends to [[TooKinkyToTorture willingly inflict it]] more than standard cases.

* {{Sidekick}}: To Sonic as usual.

** [[spoiler: Amy in ''Sonic Frontiers'' implies that she has not only been present in the main games' universe all along but that she is also inside of Sonic's friend circle despite not appearing in any mainline game so far.]]

* CanonImmigrant: She is appearing as a playable character in ''Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games'', making her one of the very few Canon Foreigners of the Sonic franchise to appear in the actual games. She also has official artwork dedicated to her in the ''Sonic Channel'' official website. [[spoiler:In addition to this, she's also name-dropped by Amy in ''VideoGame/SonicFrontiers'', cementing her place as an existing character within the main games' universe.]]

* {{Not So Above It All}}s: Played straight and zig-zagged most of the time in season one of the show. Aside from the [[DumbMuscle obviously moronic]] Knuckles and the obviously immature [[SuperSpeedster Sonic]], the so-called smart characters who make themselves seem sensible and whatnot such as [[ScienceHero Tails]] and [[TheChick Amy]] in season one of the show were also lacking common sense in situations, much to the point that Eggman once pointed this out in the episode "Multi-Tails".

* TheChick: Less so than in the original series, but she retains elements of it.

* KidAppealCharacter: Looks to be about Tails' age.

* VagueAge: She's one of the few main characters that doesn't have a set age, but looks to be within the ages of the main cast. (Possibly in-between Amy's and Tails')

Led by famous speedster Sonic the Hedgehog, the team is bolstered by tech genius Tails, dumb muscle Knuckles, voice of reason Amy Rose, and total wildcard Sticks. Multiple episodes showcase the distasters that happen when members of the team go off on their own, ending with the team reuniting and ending Eggman's scheme of the day.

An example is in ''Mech Suits Me'', she's rather annoyed when Sonic under the influence of his mecha suits flirts with twins. After Sonic is freed, she makes a point of asking him if he remembered the twins and was annoyed when Sonic happily said yes.

* MinidressOfPower: She wears a very short dress.

* ATasteOfDefeat: "Chez Amy" ends with her restaurant destroyed by Eggman, and her left dealing with Meh Burger once again. Similar to Sonic's examples this was a [[LaserGuidedKarma hubris pivoted downfall.]]

* FunPersonified: Knuckles acts like a happy-go-lucky doofus in this franchise.

* VitriolicBestBuds: He and Sonic have light moments of this. There is also occasional heat between him and Sticks due to her paranoia towards technology against his insistence upon it.
