* AdjustingYourGlasses: He has a habit of doing this on occasion.

* BreakingSpeech: He delivers one to both Ryuji and Makoto, calling out the former as the Track Traitor who betrayed the wishes of his teammates by acting selfishly and attacked him while calling out Makoto's own refusal to act against him. In the cases of Makoto and Ann, he attempts to also pull a NotSoDifferent angle, claiming that both women are like him who use others for their own personal gain. [[UnstoppableRage Neither is having any of it.]]

* NotSoDifferent: He tries to pull this on Makoto and Ann during their subsequent Persona awakenings. With Makoto, he flat-out calls her out on her inaction against him, despite knowing what he was up to, because she was using everyone around her for personal gain in order to get a college recommendation and went to Kobayakawa if something didn't go her way. With Ann, he makes a similar argument, albeit pointing out that Ann knew that Shiho was being abused but did nothing and, like everyone else, turned a blind-eye away from it and was using Shiho's status as a prominent Volleyball player to her advantage, leeching off of her achievements. * {{Adorkable}}: Despite her serious personality, Makoto is (by her own admission) more "book smart" than anything, and is a bit sheltered as a result. This means that, when she's not being a hard-assed biker thief strategist in the Metaverse, she can often come across as a bit of an adorable dork when she's trying to do things outside her usual wheelhouse.

* {{Adorkable}}: He can be ''quite'' excited when talking about plans for the Phantom Thieves, and tends to be quite vocal about it, much to the others' chagrin.

* RecurringElement: He's more or less ''Persona 5'''s {{Expy}} of [[VideoGame/Persona3 Junpei]] and [[VideoGame/Persona4 Yosuke]], serving the "best friend" role towards Akira, though his Arcana is the Chariot, not the Magician like the other two, similar to [[{{VideoGame/Persona}} Masao]].

* AdaptationalNiceGuy: When Makoto is first introduced to the Phantom Thieves, she comes off as being hungry for a college recommendation and willing to do whatever Kobayakawa says. The group even believed that she did absolutely nothing to stop Kamoshida, knowing full well about the abuse. The fanfic drops this frosty first impression entirely by having her being the opposite of Sae and not give Akira the cold shoulder while making the effort to treat him like an actual friend.

His persona is Arsène, the Gentleman Thief from the French novel written by Maurice Leblanc.

* ArmedLegs: Not him, but his Persona Arsène has extraordinarily sharp stiletto heels that look more like knives in conjunction with his claws.

* BloodKnight: Perhaps even more so than in the game. Akira seems to greatly enjoy viscerating Shadows. In two separate encounters, he had Arsène tear off half of a Silky's face before tearing it apart with an Eiha, and later on, killed a Bicorn by ''tearing off its horn and then gouged out its eye with said horn'' before finishing it off. [[VideoGame/Doom2016 The Doom Slayer]] would be proud.

* CastingAShadow: His initial Persona Arsène likes to rip apart any poor unsuspecting Shadow with its claws, enhanced by the Curse element Eiha spell.

* CheshireCatGrin: Befitting his status as a Phantom Thief, he tends to don these when he feels particularly mischievous. Arsène also sports one, which also happens to be a flaming grin at that!
* ChronicHeroSyndrome: Arsène himself notes this — as the last time Joker tried to help someone in need, the penal system slapped an assault charge on his record for his trouble — and even wonders if the resolve he showed in the past was genuine or not. This in turn proves to be the catalyst for his Persona Awakening, as his desire to help the helpless is the basis of his rebellious will, allowing him to form a contract with Arsène and summon him to save Ryuji and Makoto from Kamoshida.

* EvilLaugh: His Persona Arsène absolutely ''loves'' to give these.

* HornedHumanoid: Arsène has the appearance of a crimson man with two black and red horns coming out of its forehead.

* RedEyesTakeWarning: When his emotions are running high, Akira's eyes turn red. When this happens, he becomes ''increasingly'' dangerous to his enemies. In one instance, Arsène reacted accordingly to the rush of emotions and tore off half a Silky's face before proceeding to tear her apart.
* RoundhouseKick: One of Arsène's attack animations is a roundhouse kick, which brings emphasis to his literal stiletto heels.

* WingedHumanoid: His Persona, Arsène, is a masked man with giant bird wings.

* WolverineClaws: Arsène has metal claws on the ends of each of its fingers.

* TheDreaded: Her fellow Phantom Thieves are absolutely terrified of pissing her off. Morgana and Ryuji are quickly cowed into submission as soon as she dons the moniker "Queen". Akira is very worried when Makoto warns him not to slack off with his studies. Even Arsène advises Akira not to get on Makoto's bad side.
