** He later learns several more, though Heat Magic is his main affinity, making him a "Red Magician." He can cast [[BlowYouAway Wind]], [[MakingASplash Water]], [[MakeMeWannaShout Sound]], [[LightEmUp Light]], [[ShockAndAwe Lightning]] and [[GravityMaster Gravity Magic]].

* BellyDancer: Her dance scene at Sindria's festival. Her dance does emphasis at her bare feet more than her belly though.

* HeroesWantRedheads: Both of his possible romantic interests, Morgiana and Kougyoku, have red hair. He's later put between the two -- Morgiana is willing to accept his feelings and Kougyoku is being forced upon him in an ArrangedMarriage. [[spoiler: He eventually chooses Morgiana, who returns his feelings.]]

* ItWasAGift: Another huge ShipTease-y moment, Alibaba gives a beautiful necklace to Morgiana. Sure, he was thinking in the practical move of a replacement vessel in the case Morgiana's bracelets get broken but [[ShippingGoggles still]].

* ChasteHeroine: She's very inexperienced when it comes to romance. She even admits that she doesn't really understand how a romantic relationship is supposed to work, since while she was a slave she never considered such things. It could be one of the reasons she isn't able to recognize what her feelings towards Alibaba really are.

* MakeMeWannaShout: She can scream in the ultrasonic range, making most animals flee from the high-pitched noise.

* PrefersGoingBarefoot: She being barefoot is emphasized a lot, with many zoom in to her feet. She goes barefoot by choice of herself.

* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: It's hinted that she is attracted to [[AllLovingHero Alibaba's]] [[ScrewTheMoneyIHaveRules best]] [[YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre traits]].

* SugarAndIcePersonality: Morgiana is pretty stoic, but after some CharacterDevelopment (or perhaps [[HiddenDepths revelations]] is the better word), she's a truly sweet and kind person at heart.

* UndyingLoyalty: To Aladdin and Alibaba.

* HopelessSuitor: His feelings for Morgiana end up not being requited due to various factors such as him JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope and Morgiana's feelings towards Alibaba. [[spoiler: When Alibaba returns three years later he and Morgiana even hook up, putting the final nail in the coffin]].

* BlackSheep: If his sister is the white sheep, then Hakuryuu is decidedly the black sheep of the Kou Empire siblings.

The deuteragonist of the series. At the start, she is one of Jamil's slaves. She is originally from the Dark Continent and a member of the Fanalis Tribe. Aladdin and Alibaba help to free her from captivity and she eventually reunites with them after a six-month time skip. Aged 14 at the beginning of the story. She is a very smart and quiet girl.

* BarefootPoverty: Starts out this way due to being a slave. Subverted, as even after being freed, despite a couple scenes with shoes, she still elects to go barefoot for the rest of the story. As a KickChick with super powerful limbs, any shoes she ''did'' wear would probably just get destroyed within minutes of entering a fight.

* BellyDancer: Her dance scene at Sindria's festival.

* ChainPain: Her [[spoiler: Household Vessel is a]] pair of chains connected to ankle bracelets.

* CharacterTics: She usually puffs up her cheeks or stomps her feet on the ground (and breaks it, by the way) when mad or [[ClingyJealousGirl jealous]].

* FashionableAsymmetry: But just with her hair.

* ThreeAmigos: Aladdin, Alibaba, and Morgiana.

* PerpetualFrowner: More from sadness than rage, though.

* {{Bishonen}}: A very girly-looking cute boy. Makes sense, since his original character design was a girl. [[spoiler: It becomes more apparent after the TimeSkip in the final arc.]]

* StrongButUnskilled: She is a super strong girl with amazing martial arts ability, but almost no magic ability at all. [[spoiler: Using her Household Vessel to its full power nearly kills her. After training with Yunan, she is now able to use it.]]
