* WeakWilled: One of the worst of all the characters. As a seadweller, he is born with extremely potent biological immunity to psychic power, yet Vriska can still mind control two different versions of him into ramming each other from great distances with ease while throwing a tantrum. Aranea can also control him even more sp, but it's more likely because she had billions of sweeps of practice.

** Her SlasherSmile and demeanour seem by and large similar to the Condesce's, while her weapon is identical to Feferi's and Condesce's shared WeaponOfChoice.

* AmbiguousDisorder: His talksprite twitches and seizes wildly, he flips between a {{Jerkass}} and an ExtremeDoormat personality constantly, his quirk is so bizarre it dips into incoherence where it's sometimes hard to be sure whether he's actually speaking or just making noises, he has difficulty censoring himself, and he can't remember how to take his shirt off.

** She's a female, ebullient version of a cool kid, a concept that Terezi is notbaly obsessed with.

* MagikarpPower: Deconstructed. While MagikarpPower is an inherent feature of all Pages, attempting to achieve it drove him mad my listening to the Void inside him.

* HormoneAddledTeenager: She's physically nineteen and is implied to have slept with several of her co-players, [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk Kankri]], whom she treats as more of a son or younger brother instead, and [[{Jerkass} Cronus]] who's also implied to have been so much of a jerk that nobody wants to be in any quadrant with him until he pesters his own descendant. Though what sets her apart from Cronus is that she respects others' boundaries.

* NiceShoes: Snazzy red boots.

* SupportPartyMember: {{Deconstructed}}. She was this back in her session, as the Sylph class and Light aspect are both naturally suited for healing and supportive roles. She ''hated'' being relegated to the back lines and wanted to be more relevant like her fellow Trolls, which ultimately culminates in her destructive, Alpha timeline-derailing plan.

* YourCheatingHeart: Rufioh is one of the reasons why Damara is driven to spite everyone, making it part of the domino effect that made the entire Alpha troll session fail and continuing the BigBad's looping existence. It doesn't help that he's still unapologetic about it and redirects the blame to Damara not being over his infidelity. He's also this towards Horuss when we see him flirt with an Aradiabot rather than breaking up with him.

* AbsoluteCleavage: Porrim's signature black-and-green dress bares quite a bit of her chest.

* KickingAssInAllHerFinery: While everyone else has mostly practical clothing, she is wearing an evening dress with AbsoluteCleavage.

* StepfordSmiler: Meulin tells Horruss to be this.

* StepfordSmiler: After just becoming moirails, Meulin advises him to force himself to smile all the time, but fully admits that it's just an act and that he's really repressing his true feelings. In another flavour of the trope, beneath his grumpy true nature is a ''lot'' of crazy. Beneath ''that'' is an EmptyShell. Hussie hit all three types of StepfordSmiler in one character.

* {{Deuteragonist}}: Being the Protagonist for Act 6 Intermission 3 and the most influential member of the fourth session mentioned, she would be the Tetragonist, even though Kankri was supposedly the leader of the session.

* SmokingIsCool: He carries a cigarette in his mouth, but it's just [[RuleOfCool to look cool]]. He doesn't actually light it up, since he considers that to be a waste of a perfectly good cig.

* GenerationXerox: Like Gamzee, he's had a FreakOut that's made him evil. The difference is that Gamzee's FreakOut made him abandon his religion, while the opposite seems to have happened with Kurloz.

* WeakWilled: One of the worst of all the characters. As a seadweller, he is born with extremely potent biological immunity to psychic power, yet Vriska can still mind control two different versions of him into ramming each other from great distances with ease while throwing a tantrum.

* TrueSight: Sees right through Roxy's {{Invisibility}}. The reason for this is never provided in-comic but is presumably related to being a god-tiered Light hero.

* InnocentInnuendo: The 8=D he prefixes all his speech with is supposed to be his goggles, the nose-gap in his helm, and his smiling mouth. Not a human penis.
** That's nothing: Every single time he uses it, he adds a "<" afterwards, one assumes to provide a break. It gets worse when he wants to show "sweat" dripping off his face. As Troll biology is... weird, none of them knows exactly what this all means, but they're all incredibly skeeved by it.

* DissonantSerenity: Most of the actions that she takes when she enters the Session is done with a wide grin on her face. It would typically come across as a SlasherSmile under any other character, but she just looks so ''collected'' through it all.

* AGodAmI: What she claims to be, having millions of years to hone her abilities, she plans to essentially hijack the multiverse and make it fit her whims.

** She cures Terezi's blindness.
** She later heals Jake so he can reach his full potential - though it looks as though it was done through MindRape than actual healing.

** She has revealed her light powers can possibly heal a doomed timeline and make it into the alpha timeline thanks to an eternity of practising with them.
* MindControl: She is capable of mind-controlling other trolls like Vriska, and demonstrated her abilities on Gamzee. Her powers are even a good order of magnitude stronger than Vriska's.

* MinidressOfPower: Always wears a short dress. It's how Meenah differentiates her and Vriska until the two get to know each other better.

* MrExposition: She very dearly loves to ramble, at very great length, about the many esoteric subjects she knows a great deal about. She loves it so much, in fact, that she will pay ''others'' to let her make an exposition dump.

* {{Narcissist}}: No matter how much she preaches the greater good, all of Aranea's actions in Act 6 and beyond are just cogs in a transparent attempt to make herself relevant -- a self-interest so all-consuming, she even throws away her best friend in pursuing it. Worse than that, Aranea's self-obsession - unlike Vriska's, which is very roundly shown to be one of the many layers of her outward mask - is completely, malignantly genuine.

* PimpedOutDress: Compared to the Beta trolls' BoringButPractical outfits. It also seems to be an inversion of the typical plain black troll shirt with their symbol in their blood colour, as her dress is a deep blue (seemingly her blood colour) with a plain white symbol.

** Later replaced with an equally pimped out, Mindfang-inspired dress.

* SelfInflictedHell: Boy, are Vriska, Meenah, and a whole lot of other people going to be pissed when she returns to the Dreambubbles.

* SmugSnake: She's particularly arrogant, and it rubs Roxy and Dirk the wrong way. She's also overlooked Dirk's powers both as a Prince and a Heart Player and she underestimated the technology available to the Condesce.
* TheSociopath: Of everyone in the series, Aranea might just be the most perfect example of this, barring one point of argument. She's a master of [[FauxAffablyEvil superficial charm]], fooling literally everyone she meets into buying her kind, gregarious outward mask, but what lay beneath is someone with [[LackOfEmpathy absolutely no capacity for guilt]] and [[ManipulativeBastard a nearly deific talent for manipulation and]] MindRape, all put into use in the good name of assuaging Aranea's boredom and [[ItsAllAboutMe making her relevant]]. The only major point of contention against this is Aranea's apparently genuine affection for Meenah and Vriska, but even those two she ultimately throws away when she has no use for them any more, very strongly suggesting that she always saw them as expendable.

* YoureNotMyFather: As lampshaded by Porrim, thanks to their pseudo-mother/son relationship, when a cause comes around he could have fought against alongside her -- gender inequality -- he regularly belittles her concerns and uses his words as a shield to defend himself from any real societal repercussions largely just because it's ''her'' saying it. Driven home by the fact that his post-scratch alternate-universe version, the Sufferer (who was born into a CrapsackWorld and therefore actually had a cause) became a genuine respected hero who sacrificed his life for social change. Of course, not being a teenager probably helped, too.

* MoreThanMindControl: She still apparently has some affection for Kurloz, to the point where she willingly consents to chucklevoodoo-based telepathy in order to forget about Gamzee's codpiece.

* {{Flanderization}}: Of Kanaya being an OnlySaneWoman TeamMom, which ironically makes her the only A1 troll that have a balanced and well-rounded personality.

* HormoneAddledTeenager: Implied to have slept with all of her co-players, [[YouNeedToGetLaid except]] [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk Kankri]]. Though what sets her apart from Cronus is that she respects others' boundaries.

* LovableSexManiac: She's quite promiscuous but not pushy with anyone who isn't interested (compare her with, say, Cronus). As a person, she's calm, intellectual and good-natured.

* OurVampiresAreDifferent: Like Kanaya, she's a Rainbow Drinker. It's not immediately obvious because she has learned how to control the glowy-ness that affects Kanaya, and can turn it on and off at will. [[DoingInTheWizard Apparently, it's an ability inherent to their blood caste]].
* ReallyGetsAround: She's noted to be very sexually free and to have slept with most other trolls in her session, a criticism Kankri lodges at her.
* SoapBoxSadie: She loves feminism, and is very sex-positive. This is to further contrast her with the rest of her group, whose personalities are built around one thing, especially Kankri, who is actually very biased, prejudiced, and hateful despite his constant claims of being a NiceGuy.

* StrawFeminist: In contrast to Kankri, she [[AvertedTrope averts]] the conventions of a [[TheWarOnStraw Strawman]]. Kankri dismisses her problems with gender equality on Beforus as irrelevant, but Porrim makes very strong arguments about the inequality inherent in some caste systems while Kankri's arguments are little other than babble.
* TeamMom: To everyone, but especially Kankri, which pre-echoes their post-Scratch role as adopted mother and son.

* MindOverMatter: Like all lowbloods, she's a powerful telekinetic.

* AndIMustScream: Rumor has it that he's much more coherent around Kurloz, which suggests that Mituna's got a bit more going on in that helmet of his than most people suspect, but is unable to express it due to his circumstances.

* TheCassandra: Nobody paid attention to his warnings about the future

* SirSwearsALot: Mituna curses more frequently than any other character, once for about every ten words, according to [[http://theorigamiphoenix.tumblr.com/post/104105840442/if-its-not-clear-already-mituna-is-the-character the Origami Phoenix]]. His instinctual use of the words "fuck", "shit", and "bitch" works with his confusing typing quirk and difficulty with spelling to make him nearly impossible to understand. Rule of thumb is that "BI7CH

* BerserkButton: It's quite jarring to see his HolierThanThou demeanour fall away in the blink of an eye once he perceives that he's being mothered by Porrim. Who knew ghosts could have [[FireballEyeballs flames]] in their normally-blank eyeballs?

* {{Irony}}: For all of his preaching, he's the only one who really seems to give a damn about triggers - everyone else largely ignores them.

* SpoiledBrat: Implied, unlike some of his other teammates, it is never suggested that he was more kind. Taking into account how Beforus treats trolls like him. Is it any wonder that he grew up to be such a blowhard?

* FanDisservice: Her translated text, especially with [[UsefulNotes/FurryFandom Horuss]], who's oblivious to her innuendo. Thankfully, she's very sweet and friendly with humans, even if it is only an act.

* ShrinkingViolet: Apparently used to be like this before Meenah got to her by revealing Rufioh's infidelity and egging it on.

* BreakTheCutie: Rufioh cheating on her with Horuss, as well as her friends being abusive jerks, all drove her to become violent and borderline psychopathic.

* TokenEvilTeammate: For the pre-Scratch trolls as a whole. Well, she was the most obvious one, what with Kurloz being TheMole and Damara using TimeTravel to ruin their session. As Aranea puts it:

* WarForFunAndProfit: Her two key motivations for fighting are one, that it entertains her, and two, that it gives her a chance to amass the one and only thing she truly cares about -- riches.

* ALighterShadeOfBlack: Compared to the Condesce, her post-scratch self. They share many negative personality traits (laziness, ControlFreak issues, hedonistic and violent tendencies, and all-around {{jerkass}}ery), but while Meenah is, deep down, a functionally decent person, the Condesce is ''definitely'' not.

* GildedCage: Though she enjoys the perks of wealth, she avoided pursuing the crown because she thought that being in that sort of position would make her miserable.

** When Cronus was busy being a Jerkass to Mituna, Meenah interrupts his bullying and scolds the former to leave the latter alone. When Cronus deflects her by revealing how her Alternian version that she admires treated Mituna's alternate self, Meenah is at a loss for a moment and only offers wishful thinking that she probably treated him well.

* {{Narcissist}}: Although her capacity for honest affection is arguable, making it difficult to solidly classify her as TheSociopath, Aranea's narcissism is undeniable. No matter how much she preaches the greater good, all of Aranea's actions in Act 6 and beyond are just cogs in a transparent attempt to make herself relevant -- a self-interest so all-consuming, she even throws away her best friend in pursuing it.
