* FriendToAllChildren: Peri has many unflattering qualities, but among her most redeeming is her sheer protectiveness and kindness to other children. She ''refuses'' to harm children as evidenced by her supports and tends to actually be not only great with kinds on an impersonal level, but a [[GoodParents Good Parent]] as well. This actually came as a result of Peri's trauma from her childhood that made her into the messed-up person she is, so it actually makes a lot of sense that the person perpetually stuck in a child's mentality wouldn't want to hurt other children.

* MeaningfulName: ''Pieri'' is an Italian surname that originated from the Tuscan name ''Piero'', which is a variant of the name Pietro. However, in Romanian, Pieri means "to die".

* BunnyEarsLawyer: Even by the standards of Nohr's retainers and soldiers (whom in contrast to Hoshido, doesn't care who's able to fight as long as that they can), she's this. She's a PsychopathicWomanchild SerialKiller who's both extremely childish and emotionally unstable, not to mention is prone to puns in combat and has major discipline issues. She gets away with it ''because'' she's such a talented fighter; Xander's whole reason for keeping her on board is her single-handedly winning a tourney as is revealed in their supports; isnane or not, she's ''that good'' at jousting. It's also revealed in the tie-in manga ''The Crown of Nibelung'' that Peri's kept on board because she comes from an extremely prestigious noble family, which in part explains why she's able to get away with it even moreso than she already does; she's a political ally in Nohr.

* EvenEvilHasStandards: Despite being a HeroicComedicSociopath SerialKiller, she clearly has some standards:

* GoodCounterpart: 'Good' is a [[HeroicComedicSociopath loose word here]], but she's clearly a heroic counterpart to Hans. Both are [[SerialKiller Serial Killers]] who are AxCrazy, but while Peri is a PerkyFemaleMinion who is both a FriendToAllChildren, directs her fighting to other enemies only and is usually PlayedForLaughs, Hans is [[spoiler:a SociopathicSoldier who massacres innocent Chevois soldiers and shows ''no'' remorse for his actions, being PlayedForDrama]]. Peri herself isn't exactly fresh on the scale of heroism, but her absolute worst is still leagues better than Hans's absolute ''best.''

* TheTysonZone: Benny ultimately finds himself in this, poor guy. His [[FaceOfAThug intimidating face]], imposing stature and tendency to be completely silent has given him such a reputation for tall tales that anytime Benny ''does'' demonstrate his power, [[ViciousCycle none of it surprises absolutely anyone and just adds to the rumors surrounding him]]. Arthur in his supports tries to help break this cycle for Benny... only for it to [[EpicFail fail spectacularly]] when Arthur's [[BornUnlucky bad luck]] ''[[RuleOfFunny somehow]]'' gets a horde of Faceless in the same room just as Benny was saying "this is the real me". [[ThirdActMisunderstanding Thankfully, it works out in the end]].

* EveryoneHasStandards: When Odin alleges that she frightens kittens and babies with her bloodlust, she gets angry and denies it.

* EvenEvilHasStandards: Despite being a HeroicComedicSociopath serial killer, she clearly has some standards:

* In the same dialogue, she's similarly horrified at the idea of murdering kittens.

* CantCatchUp: His growth rates are ''atrocious'', the highest being at a measly 25%.[[note]]35% if you count HP[[/note]] [[spoiler:Subverted on the ''Conquest'' route: When he eventually rejoins the group there, his stats are buffed to the point where he is a serviceable unit henceforth, even with his bad growths, though similar units will likely be better. He levels as if unpromoted, has good heart seal classes and caps at level 30 so he's an "Oifaye" instead of "Jeagan" in Conquest.]]

* EvilIsStylish: Played with. He is an antagonist in ''Birthright'' and he's [[LargeHam extremely hammy]]. Additionally, he is a Dark Mage, who have a reputation for being shady at the least. In ''Revelation'', his supports with Orochi reveal that he chose to become a Dark Mage specifically because it's stylish.

* UnluckilyLucky:
** One would think the gods hate him with his awful luck, but this man survived multiple events that would leave him in an infirmary at best and an eleven-foot hole at worst. But he dusts off being struck by lightning and falling off cliffs like it's a common cold.

** Even more interesting than that is how his status as UnluckilyLucky is [[GameplayAndStoryIntegration reflected somewhat in story]]: Arthur is amongst the few characters in ''Conquest'' that merely retreat than outright die in the game's [[{{Permadeath}} Classic mode]], and even in ''Birthright'' where it's possible for him to die, he's one of the few Nohrian characters who can survive that chapter if [[TheHero Corrin]] talks to him first. And even ''then,'' if Arthur's defeated by an enemy unit during his retreat, there isn't even a death quote to begin with, which implies he never truly died to begin with. The only time he could even ''possibly'' croak aside from ''Birthright'' is in ''[[DownloadableContent Heirs of Fate]]'', which even then, is a [[BadFuture bad timeline]] where ''everyone'' but Corrin died trying to fight Anankos, and that presumably took an outright ''god'' to kill him!

* DevelopersDesiredDate: While their potential romance is exclusive to ''Revelations'', she's this to Subaki, albeit mostly indirectly. While their own support chain lightly spotlights how much Subaki [[YouRemindMeOfX reminds Selena of her mother]], she's most obviously intended for him through his daughter Caeldori. If Selena is Caeldori's mother, they get a unique special conversation at the end of the latter's paralogue that spotlights how much Caeldori resembles Cordelia. Additionally, their support conversations are significantly altered to show how Selena comes to terms with how talented her daughter is, but how she's different from Cordelia after all.

* ThreeAmigos: With Odin and Selena.

* ThreeAmigos: With Laslow and Odin.

* ThreeAmigos: With Selena and Laslow.

* MightyGlacier: As a Wolfskin, Keaton has naturally high HP, Strength, and Defense but is rather slow.

* BoobsOfSteel: She's described as the best fighter, is in a very physical-oriented class, and also has one of the most impressive cleavages amongst the women. When she's angry, she can topple a tree with a single punch.

* DoubleStandardAbuseFemaleOnMale: At least one of his conversations is about him getting drugged by a woman, tied up, and robbed blind, all PlayedForLaughs. According to Laslow, this is ''not'' a one-time thing. [[CallBack This also happened to him in Awakening, as recounted in one of his supports with Morgan.]]

* DayInTheLimelight: She, Odin, and Laslow are the main characters of the ''Hidden Truths'' DLC, which explains how and why they came to the world of ''Fates''.

* TearsofJoy: Peri sheds these if a Male Corrin reaches an S-support with her.

** Among the Hoshidan retainers, she foils Kagero; both are servants of the eldest prince, come from esteemed families, have strange personalities, [[PeekABangs have one eye always covered by their hair]], will kill whoever they're told to and have very busty figures (Kagero's [[MsFanservice being more obvious in her uniform]] while Peri's [[HiddenBuxom less so with her armor]]). The difference is that Peri's a childlike, bloodthirsty, mood-swinging, frontline horseback-rider while Kagero's a mature, calm, dispassionate, stealth-oriented ninja. [[spoiler:Unsurprisingly, they can forge an OddFriendship in ''Revelation''.]]

* PeekABangs: Her right eye is covered by her bangs. Looking in the files for the Private Quarters feature reveals that her right eye is colored green in contrast to her left eye being pink.

* RatedMForManly: The manly representation of unlucky justice!

* BladeOnAStick: Can wield lances. In fact, she has a higher lance rank than sword rank.

* BladeOnAStick: Uses only lances as a knight.

* BladeOnAStick: Has a higher lance rank than sword or axe.

* BladeOnAStick: His only weapon as a Knight.

* {{Keigo}}: Her supports with Xander focus on her difficulties with using the proper formal speech around him.

* ButNowIMustGo: She (and her husband, if she married) departs forever in the epilogue, presumably to go back to Ylisse. If she married the male Corrin in ''Revelation'', however, they stay in [[spoiler:Valla]].

* DramaticIrony: His mother's angst in ''Awakening'' is that she is terrified that she might be adopted due to lacking the [[BirthmarkOfDestiny Brand of the Exalt]] and is relived that her son has one. When [[spoiler:Anankos]] changes his appearance, Owain's Brand disappears, becoming much like his mother. [[spoiler:His daughter Ophelia, however, inherits the Brand. Presumbly Kana, if Corrin marries either Odin or Ophelia, and Shigure, if Odin marries Azura, would have inherit the Brand as well but this is not brought up in their conversations with Odin or Ophelia, much like how Chrom's children other than Lucina and Inigo (if Chrom marries Olivia) didn't mention having it]].
