There's nothing the player can do about it either, since they can't support - even if she marries the Male Corrin, the ''Spooky Scramble'' DLC implies she ''still'' isn't over him.

This doesn't stop him from kicking ass, of course, and he's skilled enough at fighting that he would go from [[RagsToRiches a commoner into one of the Nohrian royal's prized retainers and bodyguards]].

* SelfMadeMan: He was born a commoner, but his sheer fighting skills allowed him to become a retainer to the Nohrian royalty. This is even reflected in-game through GameplayAndStoryIntegration; he has a Skill growth rate of ''70%'', which is one of the highest natural growths in the stat of any character in the game, and represents his sheer technical skill in combat rather than him relying on brute force or, heaven's forbid, luck. Which becomes FridgeBrilliance as well; of ''course'' someone with bad luck would seek to hone their skill instead.

* ShamelessFanserviceGirl: She has no shame in wearing a [[Stripperiffic revealing outfit]] and seems to be proud of her beautiful skin.

* AnAxeToGrind: Once he's promoted to Hero, he can use axes.

His natural Skill growth without class modifiers is at 55%, which with is default class pushes it up to a meaty 70%. Likewise, he also has a below-average Skill stat at first, which represents Arthur's tendency to clumsily spill or slip up due to his bad luck, but also his determination to overcome his misfortune and maneuver through life as carefully as possible. This gives [[FridgeBrilliance deeper reasoning why]] his canonical class is the Hero than the Berserker; they have a very high Skill cap, and lack the negative penalty to Critical Avoid that the latter class has.
