** In ''Blattodea'', she's seen killing zombies left and right but hasn't turned insane like she feared and does fruitlessly try to help the other survivors she finds. She's also very depressive and turns back on her old claims that she felt at home killing people in the zombie apocalypse.

* EyeScream: Looking back, Alice has something of a taste for ripping eyeballs off. She does it at least thrice.
* FightMagnet: There is a great prize for whoever manages to kill her, but besides that Alice draws an absurd amount of hate from people just for trying to be kind.

* NoSocialSkills: She was enough of a shut-in to not even know what a shopping mall is.

* CreepyGood: Most of the cast is afraid of her prodigious talent for killing and her invincible fighting style, but she's ultimately a good girl, isn't she?

* DeadlyLunge: Taking notes from the Salticidae spider family, Alice often leaps at her enemies when she goes berserk.

** Oki relishes in being a villain during ''Blattodea''. She antagonizes Chiyuri just for being [[ThereCanBeOnlyOne her junior in roachery]] and arrests her for hard labor at Hibarigaoka prison, telling the girl that if she doesn't like it she can make herself useful by providing relief to the prison's inmates. She then kicks Chiyuri and Setsuna in the Takobeya labor accommodation room, saying their bodies will be put to work soon. Not a minute goes by and the hobo-roach and her ant friend are at risk of being raped and turned into sex slaves by Juzuhigemushi.

* LonersAreFreaks: She claims to love being hated, but gets (kind of) better after befriending Alice.

* BigBadWannabe: During ''Blattodea'', Goki talks like she's turned into some ruthless ruler figure who will manipulate and kill Chiyuri, but all she really wants is to rescue Alice and have minions to bully around. It doesn't help that she's in the role of SinisterSurveillance previously held by not-quite-main-villainesses Sara ([[spoiler:a decoy to Kuramoto]]) and Ageha ([[spoiler:who's actually Imomushi's sister driven crazy]]). Then it turns out Kagimushi is Goki's co-director at Hibarigaoka prison and both her and Geji seem afraid of him bonking them on the head for fooling around.

** She orders a hundred prisoners to rape Dinoponera to death at a point the ant-girl is portrayed as an anti-heroine, claiming she deserves it for tormenting Alice during the Arachnid Hunt.

* RapeByProxy: In ''Blattodea'', she repeatedly attempts to get Chiyuri and Setsuna raped by her subordinates and the prisoners of Hibarigaoka Prison.

* SexForSolace: After the Arachnid Hunt is done with and Japan has gone to hell, Goki starts planning to make her moves on a depressed Alice -- going as far as to contemplate raping the poor spider girl. Alice leaves without a word, though, and starts taking out her frustrations on the zombies instead.

Alice herself says she'd let the world turn to ruin just to protect her own freedom, but she never quite does anything worse than killing a few antagonists in self-defense.

* [[PragmaticHero Pragmatic Heroine]]: She is willing to kill as a last resort to protect herself and her friends.

* StunnedSilence: Alice expressing complete confusion to the ridiculous events around her is something of a RunningGag. The best example is the sizable amount of panels in [[WhamEpisode Chapter 68]] [[ReactionShot of a speechless Alice]] gawking at [[spoiler:Yoriko's]] countless absurd revelations and demands.

* ArmorPiercingQuestion: Asked Alice if a person with a [[ShrinkingViolet personality]] [[NiceGirl like hers]] could really be a murderer. Alice only agreed with her [[TheseHandsHaveKilled to avoid souring their relationship.]]

* [[NonActionGuy Non Action Girl]]: The best Yoriko can do is a Kabuto Slide of sorts by flailing a mop around.

* SmugSuper: She's very confident about her speed, but it [[SmugSnake doesn't look all that special]] when a ''lot'' of the other assassins are stealthy or fast enough to seemingly teleport around in [[FlashStep all sorts]] [[StealthHiBye of]] [[OffscreenTeleportation ways]].

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Has pink-colored hair. The tone [[HairColorDissonance varies]] with each illustration -- its closer to dark purple or red on the volume covers but is colored lighter in some other promotional artwork.

* InstantExpert: The defining trait of Alice's C.E.C. condition turns out to be how it affects her learning skills. Under Kumo's tutelage, Alice figures how to use it and learns eveything he knows in the most productive two weeks ever. She later says she only needs a couple of days to master Dinoponera's C.D.F. concentration method, but is soon using it to great effect against Sasori.

* ReusedCharacterDesign: Of Turis Flag, the spider-themed assassin from Shinya Murata's previous work, ''Manga/{{Jackals}}''. In fact, ''Arachnid'' [[http://jonjonjonjon.web.fc2.com/page142.html started out]] as a 2001 one-shot with Turis as the heroine. After Pure in ''Killing Bites'' and Himeno in ''Himenospia'', the author can be expected to put a character who resembles or acts like Alice (or as a foil to her) in every other story.

* TraumaCongaLine: Alice goes through a large amount of both physical and mental trauma as the story goes on. And a lot of it takes place over the course of a single day!

** Turns out one reason Alice was doing badly against Dinoponera is that she was concerned about a certain something her "string telephone" let her realize at that time: [[spoiler:Kuramoto]] was a scheming traitor all along.

* ExtremeLibido: Goki doesn't hit on her spider-girl friend ''that'' agressively until that Forcefully Rape Alice act she doesn't even get to try, but then ''Blattodea'' shows her masturbating like crazy to a plain picture of Alice's face after a whole year since being ditched. The cockroach trivia for the scene invokes the trope by stating a given roach can copulate far more than other bugs, around 20 to 30 times during their lifespan.

* [[GetAHoldOfYourselfMan Get A Hold Of Yourself Woman]]: Oki slaps herself to quit hesitating to talk to Hibiki about not killing Alice.

* GirlishPigtails: Wears her hair like this.

* SinisterSurveillance: In ''Blattodea'', Oki is in charge of a prison and has drones made by Jigachi patrolling the place and the surrounding city. She is introduced watching Chiyuri fighting Imomushi from a drone's footage and pondering how to best use and dispose of them.

* SmashSisters: During ''Arachnid'', Oki would like to be this with Alice but they rarely get a chance to unite against anyone. The one time it happened was just the roach goofing around and getting caught so Alice could reveal she had set traps on their enemy while he was busy. Oki later teams up with [[RivalsTeamUp Geji]] to look for Kuramoto, but that doesn't last either...

* SchoolgirlLesbians: Alice all but outright says she has romantic feelings for Oki.

** Oki is the one who gets into some of the most embarrassing situations in both stories and basically gets her butt kicked constantly. In the prequel, all she does is stand to the side looking stupid, scared of whatever Kabutomushi is currently handling.
** From a meta angle, too. In ''Killing Bites'', Eruza is obviously "Gokiburi with a cat-girl theme" when she's first introduced and she too gets beaten up a lot. Despite being the one who finishes off the main villain of the Destroyale arc, she then gets knocked out by a cowardly bunny-girl due to a fluke. In ''Choubu no Shinobi'', Goki gets a counterpart with blue hair. She seemingly gets poisoned to death right after scoring her first kill, but actually just sits out of the conflict until the end and tries to assassinate the protagonists. Then the story's child counterpart of Kabutomushi slams her head-first into the floor. Finally, one point of the sequel ''Blattodea'' is that it hypes cockroaches as beings superior to spiders but Goki is immediately usurped by Chiyuri, a wild American roach.

* CuteBruiser: She's much stronger than she looks. An artwork even depicts her doing pushups while Kabutomushi is sitting on her and lifting weights.

* DidNotGetTheGirl: [[spoiler:Amusingly enough, Alice chooses to fight an entire rape zombie apocalypse on her own instead of letting Oki exploit the moment to get her into having SexForSolace.]]

* HeroismMotiveSpeech: She tells Geji that she doesn't care about the Organization anymore and will kill or protect people according to her own wishes.

* PantyShot: Of note is that we see her panties when she's on the floor after being captured by Kirigirisu, even though she was stripped of her usual outfit by Anabachi and didn't take Geji's underwear while stealing her clothes. In a omake [[HandWave the author concludes]] Goki was carrying a spare pair of panties [[CrazyPrepared just in case]] something like being brainwashed and and forced to wear a bondage getup would happen.

* ReformedButNotTamed: She puts an effort to treat Alice kindly, but is not ever reformed and much less tamed as seen with how she treats Chiyuri in ''Blattodea''.

Unfortunately, besides the SensoryOverload it causes Alice ends up losing her weapon after outsniping Ginyanma and as of the prologue of ''Blattodea'' she hasn't recovered it.

** As ''Blattodea'' goes HotterAndSexier, Alice is portrayed as less bashful on pin-up illustrations and starts dressing in semi-transparent nightgowns and pajamas without pants while living in the Organization's HQ.

* EvilFeelsGood: Gets turned on by people being angry at her.

* MiniDressOfPower: Her blue school uniform.

* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Goki is plenty friendly and helpful to Alice, and genuinely so, but the ending shows she still would rape her if she had the chance.

* OddFriendship: While Oki enjoys being loathed by everyone but Alice, she has something of a sisterly relationship with her sadist teacher Kabutomushi and is also amicable with the also lonely Geji after they become allies.

* PetTheDog: Oki does care for Alice a whole lot and repeatedly puts her life on the line for her, which combined with just how much of an asshole everyone else is in comparison makes it hard for readers to lose much symphathy for the roach even when she starts openly shouting she wants to rape the spider-girl.

* [[SchoolgirlLesbians Schoolgirl]] PsychoLesbian: Oki fought Alice to make her a sex slave, but her psychotic crush only made her happy to surrender and work for Alice when she proved too strong.

* SlaveCollar: Oki tells Alice to wear one and crawl naked around the school, but she is who comes to wear it [[UndyingLoyalty with pride]] after becoming Alice's "slave".

* SuperReflexes: Thanks to her Air Detection ability she has an easy time dodging things.
* SuperSenses: She can easily feel the direction and pressure of air and use that to dodge attacks.

* AbhorrentAdmirer: Alice [[SubvertedTrope doesn't]] seem very bothered by the perverted attention she gets from Oki, other than restraining her with thread if she gets too clingy. [[ClingyJealousGirl And she doesn't want Oki to lust after anyone else.]] She doesn't even care that Goki wants to rape her as much as everyone else, and only leaves her underground bunker because she's afraid of eventually turning mad and killing Goki for any reason.

* KickTheDog: Oki starts out plenty bitchy, trying to turn Alice into her sex slave, stripping and kicking her for laughs. Afterwards she does [[FireForgedFriends grow devoted]] to Alice but at the very end it turns out she isn't above [[BaitTheDog acting in bad faith]] to force the spider-girl to have sex with her, bringing up the time Alice saved her from getting raped ''while planning to rape her in return''.

* SuperStrength: She is surprisingly strong.

* SympathyForTheDevil: Despite all the trouble Dinoponera caused and knowing nothing about what she went though, after trapping her Alice can't bring herself to hurt her any further, since she's now a sobbing wreck who's begging for mercy and crying about how [[NotSoDifferent she just wanted a friend.]]

* NotSoDifferent: Yoriko comes to admit that both herself and Alice suffer from having no family and figures she should treat her better, as long as Alice learns to stand up for herself.

* KnewItAllAlong: By placing her threads on [[spoiler:Kuramoto, Alice became aware that she and Sara were in cahoots with each other]].

** After killing [[spoiler:Ginyanma]], Alice falls on her back yet again. [[spoiler:Yoriko]] picks her up, but only so she can throw poor Alice off the school's rooftop.

* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: Not happy at all to have her clothes torn off by enemies every few chapters, and most of the pin-up posters she gets have her looking bashful.

* SoleSurvivor: After her uncle is killed, she has no relatives left.

* SuperSpeed: She's very agile and her concentration ability allows her to do cut corners and catch up to people like Oki.

** Turns out one reason Alice was doing badly against Dinoponera is that she was concerned about a certain something her "string telephone" let her realize at that time.
** Alice gets ambushed and pinned down by a horde of zombies during the post-apocalypse after a whole year fighting alone with nothing but her bare fists and a hatchet. She only fails to get away due to becoming too depressed and wanting to retrieve a bear plush once Kumo gifted her.
* YouCanBarelyStand: While fighting Dinoponera, Alice was so hurt that she could only move by pulling herself like a puppet. Then she made an effort to defend herself against Sara's henchman after being separated from Kabutomushi, but it was hopeless. Thankfully, Hibiki kicked him away.

* AlphaBitch: Begins the story as one, [[LovableAlphaBitch but gets better]].

* OddFriendship: This grumpy delinquent becomes close with the rather murderous ShrinkingViolet she bullied for little to no reason. [[spoiler:Even when Yoriko's adamance at getting rid of Alice for knowing too much gets herself killed, she dies telling Alice she cares about her]].

* SmokingIsCool: Alice disagrees, though.

* TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior: Yoriko already was mean and cynical in her childhood. [[spoiler:This is a hint that she didn't actually have the mind of a child.]]

* EvilMakeover:
** She gets brainwashed by Anabachi, who has a fetish for dressing girls in dominatrix outfits.
** As an antagonist in ''Blattodea'', Oki wears a military blazer draped over her shoulders, suspenders on her skirt and a garter belt. She's just missing a commissar cap for that baroness look Akiho had.

** While outperforming and bitch slapping Dinoponera, Alice gives a ''long'' character-defining WorldOfCardboardSpeech in realization that her misfortunes were all a part of somebody's plan:

She has been trained by Kabutomushi, who in ''Caterpillar'' tasks her with assassinating Imomushi in order to graduate from the assassin training institute Pomario. After ''Arachnid'', Goki focuses on finding Alice who has been finally caught by the Organization and turned into their Boss... but by ''Blattodea'' the roach becomes an evil mastermind?!

* DependingOnTheArtist: Ifuji Shinsen drew her with BigOlEyebrows in ''Arachnid'', but in sketches by Shinya or the other stories illustrated by Hayami Tokisada she doesn't have them. Also noticeable is that in colored illustrations drawn by Ifuji, at some point Goki is consistently portrayed with the ends of her twintails dyed pink.
