* TheAntichrist: Heavily implied to become this, and by ''Apocalypse'', Michael is fully embracing his heritage.

The person in charge of the Cooperative. She runs the shelter with an iron fist, and doesn't hesitate to hand out cruel punishments to rule-breakers.

* BeleagueredAssistant: [[spoiler: Before the bombs fell, she used to work as a secretary under two robotics scientists with the personalities of [[ManChild chaotic frat boys]] and she makes it clear that she deserves better then having to clean up after them]].

* ClassyCane: Is always shown with a fancy looking cane in her hand.

* DevilishHairHorns: Her hair is kept in an eccentric french twist that is teased on both sides of the middle part, giving it a demonic look.

* FacialMarkings: An odd pair of red markings extending from the bridge to underbrow, only seen in the "present" scenes, giving him a bird like look.

* JumpedAtTheCall: Michael is thrilled to take on the mantle of the Antichrist——though initially it seems to be more out of desperation to be loved and valued than caring about Satanism or the End Times.

* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Despite appearances, he's still essentially a boy in his early teens. He is reeling from destructive powers and instincts he doesn't entirely like, has been rejected by no fewer than four parental figures (one of whom committed suicide just to avoid him). All around, people try to work him to their own ends, without caring about him.

* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: [[spoiler: Him and Emily end up becoming the parents of the next Antichrist at the end of the season in the DistantFinale]].

* ChekhovsGunman: She, Timothy, and the others are killed off fairly early in the show, with the both of them poised to be someone special. When they are killed off, they are left [[ForgottenFallenFriend largely forgotten]]... until the season finale. [[spoiler:When the timeline is reset, they have another MeetCute and have a son together ... only for their son to turn out to be [[HereWeGoAgain the next Antichrist.]]]]

** A lot of the opening minutes of the first episode makes it apparently clear that she will be the main character of the season. However, after she and her group get to Outpost 3, the focus shifts from her to everyone else.

* ButForMeItWasTuesday: She doesn't seem bothered by the fact that [[spoiler:she ate one of her fellow survivors in a stew and praises the food for how it good it tasted]].

* FagHag: Zig-zagged. She has accepted her grandson into her home when his parents kicked him out and regularly hosted soirees to set him up with potential husbands. However, she only did so to try and press him into a mold of a very clichéd suburban non-threatening brand of homosexuality which she deemed acceptable. Naturally this caused a rift between them.

* IAmWho: [[spoiler:When cornered by Langdon, she suddenly displays a powerful and violent burst of magical powers that terrifies both of them. Eventually she finds out that she used to be a talented student at Miss Robichaux's Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies who got her memories erased for her own protection.]]

* BitchInSheepsClothing: [[spoiler:Appears as the most quiet, reserved warlock of Hawthorne's, but Bubbles' mind-reading powers reveal that he holds a lot of contempt for the witches that he hides behind a polite smile]].

* ProperlyParanoid: His above mentioned apprehension of Michael is entirely warranted, being that Michael is '''the Antichrist.'''

* TheDividual: Are never seen apart, both have the exact same personality, and even the same awful haircut.

* ADateWithRosiePalms: In "The Morning After", after developing an attraction to Michael Langdon.

* Evil men sexually assault- Michael sexually assaults Mrs. Venable by forcing her to take off her dress and groping her. This scene is meant to highlight how evil he is and is meant to represent men taking advantage of their power.

* NamesTheSame: Shares the name with several characters in the show (Elizabeth Short from Season 1, Countess Elizabeth from Season 5, and Elizabeth "Bette" Tattler from Season 4).

* NamesTheSame: Shares the same first name as Grace Bertrand from Asylum.

* CryCute: Like his father before him, he cries very prettily.
