openIcelandic children's book about horses? [SOLVED] Literature
I believe it was an Icelandic story book for children about a group of horses, and the ending had all of the horses being captured and sold to British coal mines. The main horse's eyes also ended up being gouged out at the end because he kept being spooked by the lamps. I think the pictures were illustrated in a watercolour style as well. Help would be appreciated.
Edited by unfortunatezoruaopenAnime-type show, red blue green yellow boys and correspondingly-coloured bricks Anime
there were 4 boys, one red, one blue, one yellow, and one green (y'know, they wore their colours, and had their hair be the same colour). the red guy was a new kid, i think, and became friends with the blue kid. the yellow and green guys were friends at the school. the yellow guy was sporty or whatever. the four boys come across some old guy's shop & each gets what looks like their own coloured lego piece or tiny brick, and these legos connect them to some square world where they're the four mystical heroes, and they've gotta save this cubic planet from the bad guys. they also had an element connected to them, red being fire, blue ice, yellow electric, etc. the usual. i just can't for the life of me remember its name. thanks in advance.
openI have no clue Live Action TV

openOld science fiction book Literature
I read this 15-20 years ago but no idea how old it actually is. I read it in french but no clue if that was a translation or not. Looks like '50s or '60s science fiction to me but can't know for sure.
An advanced alien race has been discovered but they're extinct. A bunch of scientists are on the planet to try and figure out what happened to them and more are sent every once in a while but as time goes on less and less money is sent toward the project.
Story start with our main character, a promising young scientist in the shuttle to the planet. Situation is tense on Earth and a war is imminent and scientist might be recalled away from the planet. They have a statue of the aliens so they know how they look like. They have huge buildings full of crystals that they think were used for data storage but they all look too similar with only differences due to piezoelectric effect. MC decides to try and live like an alien to understand how they thought because he did it to understand some earth tribes. They build him a suit so he looks like one, hypnotise him, leave him alone for a couple months in the alien ghost town. He nearly dies but figures out what happened, but can't remember (yeah, that part is weird) No shuttle ever come back from Earth again so they assume Earth died. They continue working on the project while trying to ensure human race survival. Finally MC understands (again) what happened. The aliens had 3 stages of life, they started neutral then became male, then female (or the opposite, female then male, don't remember). But the middle stage was the lowest status in society and they could control their change, so as time went on, less and less alien spent a long time in that second stage, and they stopped reproducing, until their civilisation disappeared. The crystals were not actually data storage but a bank (i remember bank but not if it was money bank or genetic material bank, I'm pretty sure it was linked to their sexuality somehow. It just wasn't data storage as they were sure it was.). The mystery resolved, the whole team move to a "more hospitable" spot to start their new life. They all die. MC has a kid that dies after a few months, and he cut her open to try and figure out what happens, turns out there are spores, in the air in their new site, that clogged her lungs and they're all infected. MC is the last to die and he buries everyone while writing their story with acid on metal tablets in case Earth ever comes back.
Yes i remember basically the whole story except like, ANY name of character/alien/author. But i have wanted to reread this for so long and my father too and we can't for the life of us find the book again. Thanks in advance if anyone has a clue and merry christmas !
openEpisode of show opens with airplane coming down with panicky voice over Western Animation
I don't know if this was an Anime or original Western Animation show, but it was on Adult Swim and it was the opening of an episode where we have a worm's eye view of an Airplane coming down, either spinning or coming down regularly (I remember it spinning as it was landing). There was a voiceover that I barely remember, but given that it was in a panicky tone I suspect it was a hospital plane landing with a person in critical condition. With how intense it was and the TV-MA rating, my 10 or 11 self shut it off scared out of my wits. Now, almost 12 years later, I'd like to look for it again. I don't think this was a pilot, but if this episode of some show or Anime sounds familiar to you, please reply and it'll be greatly appreciated. Remember, it was on Adult Swim and rated TV-MA, so hopefully that helps.
openTV series that played with the "Will they/won't they?" trope? Live Action TV
"Will They or Won't They?" is a well known trope of sitcoms. I think I remember a recent show (in the last years) that started off as if they were going to set up a "will they or won't they" with characters speculating how long it will take but then brought the two leads together within the first episode(s). I just can't remember the name of the show. Any guesses which I could mean? TIA!
openPls Help me find this Korean Drama ? Live Action TV
Ok so the show is a Korean Drama I believe it was on Netflix sometime in 2017 & it’s basically about a girl who moves into a house with 3 different women. One is older she dates Rich guys for money and always sees this one older guy at this bar she goes to. I forgot thier connection but The other girl works as a waitress at a restaurant and her boss is a complete asshole and she ends up starting a small romance with the head cook. I know towards the end she ends up interviewing for a job and the older girl chases after her to give her a pair of shoes but she misses her. The third girl her story is around the guy she dates who’s really a jerk and when she finally breaks up with him he ties her up in his apartment & all the girls end up rescuing her. openCan't figure out what this show is (late 80s/early-mid 90s) Live Action TV
There was a television show in either the late 80s or early-mid 90s that I can't recall the name of, and it's been annoying me.
I kind of remember it being a mid-season replacement show that didn't get picked up. It was about this family who lived in a house where ghosts lived. The only person who could see or hear the ghosts was the old man.
I'd love to find out the name and year of the show.
Thanks!

openDoes anyone remember this witch show? Western Animation
It was a show about a girl who was a witch and there was a boy and girl also witches, I think they were in highschool. The main character always got bullied by a girl, and one time that bullies lackey saw the girl doing magic if I remember. I think they had necklaces with some jewel. One time i firmly remember is that they used magic with their fingers usually and would cast spells on people who caught them using magic to make them forget what they saw. I think the mainc character's grandmother might of lived in a victorian like haunted house or something, though I may be wrong. It was kinda in a western anime style, and it was on xfinity on demand about 4 or 5 years ago. I'm sorry if its not descriptive as I only remember watching two episodes randomly and I did not pay attention to the name.
Edited by DelvarisiaopenA children's TV show from the 80s or 90s that I only remember one moment from one episode
I remember it was a bright colourful show with 2D animation. The characters I think we're elephants but they could have been hippos, some large hairless mammal. In the episode they visit this kind of mud flat and there are jars of mud but they become upset because the mud is dried up. I honestly have no idea why this moment has stuck with my for so long but I've been trying to find it for years. And ideas would be great!

openStory teller Live Action TV
I have been trying to remember the name of a tv show I used to watch as a kid back in the 90's although the show might be a little bit older.
Its just a guy telling stories, mostly fairytale types, in a very green and lush garden, lots of cuts from one scene to another showing different parts of the garden, he makes different voices as the characters talk, he usually does a lot of grumpy/gruff voices but he would also do high pitched voices as well.
Sometimes he would jump in on a scene cut but its normally fairly static with him just crouching and talking while leaning against some object like a wall or well or peering over a dense bush.
Sounds exciting I know.
open70s Christmas disco song (probably American).
It's a very 70s sounding, disco funk style song but I'd never heard it before this Christmas. The lyrics were hard to make out because I was in a noisy environment but it sounded like there was something about "Jesus walks with me" and the repeated line for the chorus sounded like "Can you Christmas?" though, as far as I know, that's modern Internet slang rather than a 70s way of speaking, so I may have misheard. I tried Googling those lyrics and got nothing.
Edited by caffeinatedkateopenLooking For A Fanfiction Web Original
I recall reading a long time ago on fanfiction.net a Ranma 1/2 fanfic where the premise was that Ranma was attached to a doll he called Chise IIRC and treated as if it was a real person. I don't remember the name, so if someone could tell it to me I'd much appreciate it.
openBeen trying to figure this out for years. Live Action TV
So i don't really remember much but it was a Live Action tv show that was either on nickelodeon or CBC kids or Treehouse back around 2002-2008 (that's rough estimate on years) From what i recall it was a show with multiple segments where different things would happen it was a female and i would like to say a racoon but it could of been another animal or some form of puppet Standing behind a sideways tree with 2 standing up trees on either side. I think I recall the show segments actually being real life things such as going to a petty zoo but i can't remember.
openTime Travel Plot
I remember seeing this episode of something. It was a plot involving time travel. A future version of the hero protagonist came to the present telling them they had to do some sort of task or tasks. But the twist was that the future version was actually evil. So then a future version of the hero's friend comes as well trying to warn them of what they become and to not follow their instructions. Then the two time travelers fight each other... that's all I remember.
I also remember there being a mechanical setting with lots of shades of green and gray. I'm quite sure it was animated and probably a western cartoon. Is there anything with a plot like this?
openDragon show Western Animation
I think it was called "Pillars of Freedom" or something.
Basically these dragons go on a quest to find these pillars that will allow the other dragons to fly and breathe fire.
Does anyone know where to find this show? Does it even still exist?
I was wondering if you guys knew about a animated show where 5 school kids travel to past regularly to prevent the villain from changing the future. The villain regularly sends two green solid hologram guys referred to as viruses. They transform into whatever clothing at that time to blend in. It was not in English but in the local language so a few details might be wrong. They are taken there and led by an AI within a triangular/pentagonal device referring himself as BROTHER or something related. This happened after their blonde Professor, who was the guy who created all those devices was kidnapped by those two viruses and imprisoned. The team members were this skinny blonde guy, this orange hair girl whose normal attire green T-shirt and jeans and claims to be of Italian/Spanish descent, then a black kid wearing red coat, then this tiny asian girl with blue hair, blue t-shirt and jeans. They went back in time to Pompeii, Moon launch, a medieval castle, Florence Nightingale's house, saved one of the Founding Fathers of the United States from assassination, met Leonardo da Vinci, saw his inventions and helped in the Mona Lisa painting creation - here the model was the village chief's wife and they made her smile by giving her a cake. In the last episode I remember them saving the Sphinx from being bombed to hell, but one bomb took of its nose.
