Four questions:
1) A short book that was in my grade 2 classroom in 1998 (though could be older) about a boy who gets a microscope and is obsessed with it. I remember it has picture of what things like hair and skin look like under a microscope.
2) A book of poems for children that I got in about 2000 (2001?). I remember it had a picture of a dark-skinned, dark-haired girl in a blue shirtdress on the cover, and she kept appearing throughout the book. All of the poems had something to do with nature or discovery. I remember one poem about apples and another about seeing rainbows in oil slicks.
3) A middle-grade novel that I think I read in 2000. Again, could be older, since I took it out of the library. It's about a boy who starts fifth grade and has a notoriously tough teacher, and he's forced to do group projects with the smartest girl in the class and two "loser" types. I always thought the book was called "The Loser's Club" but when I search that, I never find the right book.
4) A gigantic book of science experiments for kids. I remember that it was large both in size and volume, and the cover was a dark purple with a picture of a guy in a labcoat on it holding a lizard. There were lots of experiments divided into themes, illustrated with line drawings. I can't remember all the sections, but I know the first section dealt with simple reactions and involved things like folding paper to show how triangles are good for support and the trick where you put soap on your finger and put in a bowl of pepper.
All four of these have been driving me bonkers for years. All help appreciated!
Edited by AlexandraSBopenLooking for name of movie Film
This movie was made in the late sixties or possibly in the seventies. The movie starts with a male actor in a courtroom in some small town courtroom which I think is in Florida. He's found guilty and escapes from the courtroom. There's then a five or ten minute car chase through roads and bayous (?), at least it looks like them. He manages to escape from the police. Later in the film he pilots a submarine with some criminals to find something. I believe the trial and chase were all a setup to get to the criminals. Would appreciate anyone with a good memory.
openScience Based novel based in UK Literature
Another one from me, I'm afraid.
I read a book when I was younger- probably mid-late 90s. I'm not sure when it was published.
There was a young boy who visited his grandfather, and whenever he visited, they talked about physics. They may or may not have travelled into experiments, but they definitely performed them. I think (but I may be getting mixed up) that one of the chapters involved the pair sitting on a train, and the boy wasn't sure whether it was the train he was on that was moving or the one at the next platform.
The grandfather may or may not have actually been his uncle. I think his name began with an A.
The paperback cover of the book had a very detailed illustration of the boy and his grandfather, and the title of the book was encased in a blue box (a very similar blue to the 'submit' box right here on TV Tropes)
This is all I remember, I'm afraid. But I'd really like to read it with my son when he gets older if I can find it.

openNo Title Western Animation
I remember seeing a short video on tumblr within the last year or so. It was really, really quality cgi, like something from an an actual film or video game, but I remember something about it not actually being a clip from something, or at least nothing finished? Might have been from something someone wanted to make, or maybe a trailer?
The video was about an android/robot/AI woman who had a soul (like she could think and feel where the other's were just machines programmed to act like human companions/servants?) The android is being constructed and talking to the quality control(?) guy (who you don't actually see, he's just a voice over an intercom) when she becomes upset, realizing she's not going to be free and she's supposed to be a mindless servant.
The quality control guy is kind of freaked out by her acting differently than the other androids (they usually just give a little monologue about how great they are at serving humanity) and starts disassembling her because she's 'defective'.
The android woman begs him not to take her apart, she doesn't want to die. I remember the scene being a real tear-jerker because an intelligent being is literally begging not to be destroyed for having a soul. The guy stops the dissembling process just before it's too late and, touched by her pleas, he puts her back together and let's her leave to be shipped off, agitatedly telling her something to the effect of 'act normal so neither of us get in trouble.'
It ends there, though it really seemed like it should be part of something bigger. It was kind of rad, and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this? Within one or two years ago, probably. It was obviously newer because the cgi looked good.
openBreakdown/solo of (probably) famous song Music
Alright, so I feel very, very dumb for not being able to place what song this is from. But at the same time, I have a feeling this will be hard to find from what I can describe, even if it is a giant hit classic. I just know there is some song I've heard a lot, probably a famous one, most likely '70s or '80s pop or rock that has a big breakdown with drums. I think it sounds a lot different than most of the song. There is also a saxophone or horn that starts not long after the big breakdown/solo thing. This is just driving me crazy, and might sound like a lot of songs. I should know it when I see the title, hopefully. Thanks.
openA Greek play about women holding a meeting
I'm looking for a Greek play about a playwright/poet from Athens who is hated by women because he portrays them poorly. He here's that several Athenian women are holding a meeting about him, so he decides to infiltrate the meeting and discovers it to be very orderly. Eventually he's discovered (I think) and someone tries to stab him but instead a bottle of wine is stabbed. I don't remember the ending
openOld Tv-Show
An old Tv-Show, where the teenage girl's Mother marries a newly divorced man, who also has two kids, a daughter and a son. The main character had brown hair her stepsister was blonde. I remember a scene where the Mothe came out of the shower and the Boy talked about how hor his stepmom is. And I remember that I shipped the girl with her stepbrother. He was very popular but she wasn't. He was a bit older and they went to the same high school. He lived in the garage of the house. I think the stepsister was good at singing and auditioned for the school musically, I think. That's all I remember.
openWhat's the My Little Pony episode with baby Discord saying "More me"? Western Animation
Okay. I'm looking for an episode of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic where Discord turns into a baby, introduces himself, then creates more of his heads, each one smaller than the other, and each time he does it, all the heads say "More me".
openEarly 2000 cgi kids/teens show
No matter how much I try too google what I remember about this show, I get nowhere. So maybe one of you guys do? I think it must have been on tv in the early 2000, not older than 2010 i think. I'm not sure if it was, but I think it was a cgi/3d show. I might be wrong tho. Don't know which country it came from either. What I remember from it is a brother and sister, both with dark hair, and I think their clothing were red. Their mother had been kidnapped by the bad guys i think. And the brother and sister were traveling on a ship that flies in the sky/clouds, with some other people. I think the brother was a pilot, and the girl had some supernatural powers. The enemies where after her for her powers. It must have been a sci-fi/fantasy/drama series. Anyone have a clue? :)

openTrying to find yet another devil film Film
What is the name of a movie which begins with a well dressed man walking into an office building, entering an elevator where he instructs the operator "Down. All the way down." He then enters an office where a woman dressed as the moon goddess or some such thing is lounging on a desk. The man reprimands the woman instructing her with words to the effect "we don't do that any more". The distinguished looking man turns out to be the devil and the office is apparently his center of operations.
openTotal Recall Author Literature
I'm not talking about We Remember it For You Wholesale. It was this novel about a tv show host whose wife and daughter were murdered and he was bashed. When he returns to consciousness, he can't remember what happened to him.

openVocaloids adventuring together? Music
Saw this song a bit ago without subtitle, and the title is in Japanese so I can only go with my interpretation of the vid, sorry.
The MV depicts Miku and several other Vocaloids adventuring together in a ruins or some sort collecting emblems (symbols?). I remember there are several emblems with different colors, and Kaito gets a blue one, Gumi gets gold (yellow?) others each get one, and I don't remember exactly who gets what color, but there is also yellow, gold, green, and orange, and at the end, only Miku didn't get the emblem. The end of the video has Miku crying, and all the other Vocaloids smile at her.
Ideas?
openAnimated TV Show in Late 90s/early 2000s Western Animation
I cannot find a trace of this show online and it's driving me insane. Basically it was this animated TV show that I think might have been either animated over live action or like a 2D CGI. (It was kind of a unique style. Like if you took A Scanner Darkly, made it ghetto and mixed it with Reboot, but then made everything 2D with static textures and patterns on clothing, for example.) It was some time in the late 90s/early 2000s, either Canadian or American. I thought it would have been on YTV or Teletoon, but I've searched both of their show lists and nothing is twigging my memory. It was something about this group of friends (2 guys, 2 girls, I think), and they had some sort of ability to leave their bodies and project themselves into ... I want to say dreams or alternate realities? I think they had some sort of memory loss that was a big part of the plot. And there was some sort of shady organization after them. I hope that's enough to go on. It was kind of for teens and adults, I'd say, rather than younger kids. Please help!
Hey guys. My mom was reading the paper, the NY times, and mentioned a film she read about that she thought she might enjoy. But my dad threw out the paper and she can't recall the title, and well, here we are. This was about a week ago in the Friday paper, if it helps. My mom said the film was live action, based on a manga or anime (she can't recall which) and featured a young girl or boy befriending a "large Michelin-Man type creature." That's all I got. Hope this helps! Thanks.
