openDesert, class system, twin telepathy Literature
I only got to read the first chapter or so of this book back in junior high but hopefully I know enough for someone to find it. It takes place in a city in the middle of a desert. The city is built around a central well. The class system revolves around intelligence with each class sorted by colour. The smarter a person or their family is, the closer to the well they live and the better their overall living conditions are. The highest class was either white or maroon, with the lowest class being grey. The child protagonists are twins from orange class (or blue, I think those classes were beside each other on the scale) and they had twin telepathy. They lived with their mom and baby sister. At their school, the class seating arrangement was dependent on grades, with smarter kids closer to the front.
openSci-Fi/Thriller with an "imaginary friend" and "inner demon"? Live Action TV
I can't remember what the show was actually about, but I remember specific scenes and details. The main male character had this female friend for a good portion of the show and later on he realized that he was the only one who could see her. She represented this shadow demon thing inside him from when he was a child. Whenever he tried to recall his memories of what happened, there was always a break/glitch. This creature he was afraid of had a big ugly head and he used to draw it as a child or something like that.
Another scene I remember quite vaguely is when he was trying to confront the "female friend" with the other characters in the show and there was some sort of time slowing down when she or someone else shot a gun and the main character was trying to prevent people from getting shot.
The other parts I remember are when there's this person that has the power to switch bodies and while inside a mental hospital or something similar, bodies switched and there was some massive killing inside the place with the body parts of everyone sticking out in odd areas and positions (stuck in walls, etc).
I watched this show on Netflix relatively recently (within a few years) and I know it isn't an older show since I tend to watch recently released series.
openChildren kidnapped into other dimension Western Animation
Unfortunately, I do not recall much more than what I described in the title. I do remember a cartoon show (or an episode thereof) in which children were kidnapped at night through a portal (underneath their bed, I seem to recall) into another world/dimension where they are forced to do slave work (I think). Solving this riddle would really be a great relief after two decades of pondering. Many thanks in advance!
openA french (I believe) show\movie about Hookers friend that deals with a cheap john. Live Action TV
So there was an old frenchItalian tv showmovie that I watched back in the day, and one of the scenes was about a Hooker and her friend, talking about a man that stole the hooker's money. Then her friend catches him and "DEALS" with the problem. I have some images of that hooker's friend, maybe you could help me find this showmovie: https://prnt.sc/hv5fah https://prnt.sc/hv5fm7
openMagic Girl/Witch Cartoon??
There was this animated ?"kids"? show that I stumbled upon a couple years ago on youtube. I dont know if someone from youtube made it themselves or if it was made by some animation company or whatever. It involved this girl, lets call her "Magic Girl', that had magic and the house she lived in was magic too i think. Her friends also had magic i believe. One of the episodes she gets turned into a mermaid (i think the episode name was like..."Starfish" or something) by another jealous mermaid when said mermaid thinks there is something going on between "Magic Girl" and her "Magic boy-friend" (which there totally was btw but like...not canon?? i think?? and he could teleport) and another episode where there is a singing competition and the "mean girl" of the show has a magic voice curse or something?? and another episode where they get trapped in a mirror at a magic show?? / not a lot to go on, but trying to find this show for the past couple years has been driving me insane lol
Edited by Mermaid123openDetectives back in the day Live Action TV
I remember from my childhood a detective show on PBS with a man and woman, both wearing a blue uniform. Think it was a kids show either mid-late 80s or early 90s

openPlastic toddler board game (90s/early 2000s)
I'm trying to remember a game my family had when I was younger. It was roughly around the same time as Lucky Ducks and the Elefun elephant. I think the game consisted of maybe cards or a die, and definitely a white plastic dog that was mostly 2-D, maybe an inch or two thick. I think the dog had windows in its side, and its tail was a lever. When the tail was pushed, I think the spots changed? Like maybe one window/spot would change to brown instead of white. The spots might've been different colors too— I can't remember. It was probably supposed to teach counting or something. Does it ring any bells for anyone? I've been Googling, but haven't been successful so far.

openSlowly losing my mind over this. PLEASE HELP !! Anime
OK so some time within the last 8 years or so, we found a random anime DVD at a local dollar store. Watched it, loved it, moved and lost it. I cannot for the life of me remember what's its called , and all google "keyword" searches has gotten me no closer!! Here's what I do remember: Show opens with a Man in a cow boy hat breaking a young boy out of prison. While there (I think) they meet a woman who is a a witch. She can perform magic with a special deck of cards she has. A little girl, who is also a vampire that follows the witch around. The man in the cow boy hat was hired to break the kid out because he was the only one powerful enough to control and use a certain huge gun. The gun had a blue colored half moon on it. We had only the first season, and watched it multiple times while we looked for more. We never did find it again, and like I said before we don't even remember now what its called. If anyone knows what I'm talking. Please please please let me know. Id love to order whatever other seasons there are available.
Thank you !!! Hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!! ;)
Edited by Ruby_RebellionopenSome song I used to hear, really vague but driving me crazy! Music
Alright, so I almost didn't ask due to how vague this will be, but it's been bugging me for literally many years. There is some song, that I have sometimes remembered a bit of for years, and it's too vague to search for. I think I heard this song in the late 2000s. I probably heard it a few times possibly more than a few, but not sure. Thought it was a song I heard being played in stores or something. I am almost certain it was a female singer with a deep or raspy voice, but could be way-misremembering. It could have been pretty much any mainstream genre. It was pretty upbeat and possibly angry sounding. I remember that the chorus started something like "I try to make you undestand I (words that I can't remember, but I am pretty sure the line ends in a -ay sound). I could be off on those lyrics though. This has seriously been bothering me for a long time, gosh I hope someone can help me finally figure out what this was. Thanks.
openFind a book
The book's title is "Strange Tales of B Street" or something like that. The first story of the book: a man hired a haunted house. The witch who haunted that house gave him 3 chance to request. If he demanded sothing she can't give, she would leave, else she took his soul. The man asked his friend, who had a goldfish that can talk. First request is jewels shine as gold and elastic as rubber. Third request is a hairy frog (the witch's true form) The last story of the book: a prince's love with a mermaid
openEarly 2000s talk show Live Action TV
I used to watch this syndicated talk show that has a segment where somebody stands in front of a door, then the door opens by itself revealing whether or not somebody is in there. Any ideas?
openTwo Shows I Want to Remember
Two series I'm trying to remember that I can't recall the name of but liked. One I think was online flash animation. It featured an apocalyptic world where a hero who was a skeleton protected this little girl with his zombie dog. On one episode they encountered a resurrected Velociraptor and fought it. It turned out to belong to some new female character. I'd like to remember what this was. Think it was from early 2000s.
Second show that was shown on TV once here in Finland had animated sketches. Both cartoon and stop motion. I describe all I can remember. Cartoon where in an underwater society two octopuses rob an bank, and end up shooting an octopus clerk because he didn't put all his eight tentacles up. Turned out a moray eel had taken one. In one a typical strong man hero is ordered to save the sick president of USA. He is to go inside him to cure him like in the movie Fantastic Voyage. But when he asks about shrinking he is told not to be silly because it isn't sci-fi. So he basically puts the president on him like cloths and walks about.
A very short stop motion sketch where a scientist asks another what do you get when you cross a sheep and I think it was a kangaroo. The other one gives some quaint guess and the other responses: "No, this." Opens a door next to them and this The Thing like creature with sheep parts sticking from it appears and claws them to death. The last I remember (another stop motion bit) had aliens abducting a woman to make her pregnant with their offspring. She and a young male alien talk in bed and she ends up liking him. They tell the alien's father that they did the deed. But it turns out he realizes it isn't true as she should be dead as their *cough* stuff is poisonous to humans. She gets angry and says something about all men being the same. The name on the tip of my tongue is is something like The Strip Show, The Trip Show. Something like that. Does anyone have any idea what these show were?
Edited by CatwithoutatailopenBook Club turned into Murderous Cult Live Action TV
I can't remember which channel it was on, but ABC or FX comes to mind. I believe it was on around 2011-2012. From what I remember, the plot centers around this one modern literature cult that pulls a lot of crazy stunts, like lighting people on fire in the streets and plain ol' murder. If I'm correct, Edgar Allan Poe was most likely the author they all worshiped or something like that. The leader too, was probably in the middle of writing his own twisted book, and they looked up to him too. I'm pretty sure the genre would fall somewhere in mystery, crime, drama.
openHelp me
So this show was about 2 guys and they hung out in this one house that had a lot of different rooms for different things.. they wou meet children in these rooms and use there fingers like little men to walk around and be smaller than usual. openName of song Music
Since music is hard to translate on paper i will tell the songs music video. I saw this a couple months back but i didn't save it here it goes. The music videos thumbnail shows an a tactical armoured soldier looking almost but not quite like an armoured german ss soldier. The video shows a street riot that is getting gundowned, everyone is rioting but the soldiers are trying to stop it. But the riot is getting out of hand so a tactical armoured soldier is sent to kill the rebellion/riot. The rioters or rebels go to the sewers. They make a plan to stop the soldiers the rebels give a young man a soldiers tactical armour mask and all including a machine gun. The rebel in armour takes down unaurmored soldiers and helps the rebels win. This scene includes gun fights, a flame thrower and lots of death. The video was animated i cant really say lyrics because i dont think it had any. But that was the animated music video i saw on youtube hope someone can help.
I'm going to keep this one short and simple, it was a Grunge/Post-Grunge song that had a solo bass intro. It's chorus had the word Pain in it, though I can confirm that it is not the song of the same name by Jimmy Eat World or Three Days Grace. The lead singer kind of reminded me of Scott Weiland, though so far I can't find any Stone Temple Pilots or Velvet Revolver songs that match, and seeing as it was on the radio, I doubt it was any of his other bands.
