Each culture also tends to justify its own abuses, otherwise there would always be someone who protests them. Most people in Europe believed that the natives of America deserved to be conquered, for example, because either they needed to be converted to the True Religion, or they were just dangerous animals that should be exterminated. And why did they believe these things? Because their authority figures including The Church told them so. Most were too far removed from the truth (and too busy surviving day-to-day) to either know or care. I'm pretty sure that had it been the other way, the Natives wouldn't have been much kinder.
Also, as I mentioned above Fanfiction has no standards. That's just what people who read them online wished, but as *free* stuff produced for the amusement of their authors, it cannot be demanded. Really, fanfiction is just a way for people to get stuff out of their system (whether just a desire to see a sexual fantasy fulfilled or an actual desire to write for X series.) Fic writers should just concern themselves on expressing themselves; fic readers should just look for the stories they like.

Thank god! Someone finally gets it.
I haven't written a fanfic yet, but if I do it will be an Animal Farm/Deathnote crossover.
Humanity wants equality yet supremacy stands in the way. Destroy that and we can embrace equality. Two legs bad, four legs—(dies of heart attack)
Something like that?
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadI started a Half Life / Portal fic back in September and so far I've published nearly 30,000 words of it - which is odd, considering I haven't even finished the beginning yet.
Before this, I'd never written any fanfics, I mainly focused on original stories that never went anywhere... Does anyone else feel that way? With my original stories, I wasn't motivated enough to actually keep at them, so they just sort of crumbled to pieces, but now that I'm on FF dot N, there's a spur in my side.
I've got a Mass Effect one going, in response to the ending (you know, just like everyone else ). The main difference is that I'm focusing on the Battle of London as well as just the ending. It's called Mass Effect: Endgame.
Any concrit would be appreciated.
I've written one, it's called Invader Zim: In Dying Days. It's in desperate need of critique and review

Ahhh... Yes, I do haha.

That's my profile. Although, I haven't really updated in a while and my stories aren't exactly good since I'm still young . They are for Bleach (Hitsugaya x Hinamori)
What's interesting is that I've been slowly "de-suing" one of my fanfics, and it's looking pretty good...
I did an Endwar team fanfic back when I was 15.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. My latest animated video is based on the VERY FIRST original story I ever wrote, back when I was like 6-7 years old. As you can guess it was terrible, but I updated it out of nostalgia. Hopefully its better now. (The 'Fairly Oddparents' style animation is intentional.) Sijo's origin

I haven't written fanfiction in a very long time, but I've just started a Star Wars one, set during the era of the Star Wars Legacy comics, about a military frigate serving in the Galactic Alliance starfleet, crewed mostly by Corellians, who have a Badass Navy tradition in-universe. They fight pirates, slavers, terrorists, separatists, and eventually The Empire. Planet of Hats will be played with, and one of the things I'm really trying to do is show how each species is diverse, and not monocultural. Hopefully, it works out.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."I've just recently started writing a fanfiction on the relatively obscure game Shank. It isn't up yet, but I'll point it out when it is.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Yes, I have and now people can actually read one http://vyctorian.deviantart.com/art/Ore-Dinary-A-Legend-Of-Korra-Fan-Fic-292736257 This is my divergent The Legend Of Korra fan fic. Which got it's formatting screwed up in the upload, so know all my italicized thoughts look like aloud speaking >;(

Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comYeah, I'd say I've written a few. My ffnet account is here.
...Just as a note, I harbor a deep hatred for pretty much every one of the stories listed there. Ah well, points for giving me a reason to do better.
PM box is always open. That's the attitude! Even Shakespeare started by writing crap.
Yes, for Kink Memes and such. I have a FF.net account but it's empty.
Depending on who you ask some say he never stopped.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comI have written a few ME one-shots. Some I've posted on ff. I recently got a hilariously abusive comment on a Maleshep/Traynor frienship fic I wrote. I'm pretty sure it was almost as long as the story. I think I'm actually kind of proud I managed to invoke that strong a reaction from someone.
Here's the story. Be sure to check out the reviews after for added amusement
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong. This troper has made a few...
EPIC DREAM: The Fanfic a Mega Crossover of many animated series.
This random oneshot based off of Nick Jr's Face.
And another one shot crossover with Invader Zim and Angry Birds.
"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!"I write fanfiction, but mostly I brainstorm and edit. A few years back on my FF.net account I had a pair of Neon Genesis Evangelion fanfics that were indescribably bad. I took them down as soon as I realized this.
Currently I'm planning to write a Persona 3 Peggy Sue fic called New Game Plus, a Devil Survivor 1 and 2 cross where the main character from the first game (named Minato, I am so original) ends up drastically warping the plot of the second as King of Bel, and I'm slowly giving in to the temptation to write an Evangelion/Holyland crossover. I've got a few other fics littering my hard drive, like the NWN Mask of the Betrayer continuation and A Pocketful of Bhaalspawn (What's worse than one child of the dead god of murder spreading chaos in the world? Five of them), but those are stories I'm less dedicated to producing.
I too am an aspiring author, hoping to tell a compelling tale now and then. I don't have a lot of stories, but I try to finish what I start.
Identity is an ongoing Ranma One Half epic, in which Ranma is taken captive by a tribe of Chinese Sorcerers who deliberately curse themselves to the opposite gender.
The Coin is a Haruhi Suzumiya piece I finished at the end of last year. Haruhi discovers her powers thanks to the high price of a can of Coca-Cola, and from there, she learns that though she may be just the sort of thing she's been looking for, her abilities haven't proved nearly so much fun for the people around her.
The Coming of the First Ones is a Neon Genesis Evangelion novel I started recently. Two years after Instrumentality's end, a rebuilding world faces a new enemy in Eisheth, one of Adam and Lilith's kin, and though it seeks to dissolve mankind back into LCL, it wants Shinji Ikari dead just as much, if not more.
Before and After is a more introspective Evangelion piece, focusing on Rei and her development in particular with new events interwoven between episodes of the TV series. I consider it a loose prequel to First Ones above, but not required reading.
Author of The Second Coming (NGE) and The Coin (Haruhi).Yes I write fanfics. If you follow my signature link it will transport you to one with a trope page. The one in question will send you to the fic, and some others my friends write. That in turn will lead you to me and my REAL handle. Guess correctly children.
Remember me? I'm Mary Sue.I wrote four not-very-good humor fics for DBZ, Ocarina Of Time and Gundam Wing roughly twelve years ago on Fanfiction.net. They're gone now because they were written back when I was teenage and slightly stupid. I want to start anew. I'd like to think that my writing technique has improved in twelve years through Nanowrimo and other stuff.
As for what fandoms I'd like to pursue for ficcing purposes, I'd like to write something for Black Lagoon, Firefly, another Zelda game, Max Payne, or Mass Effect. Maybe Lord Of The Rings using my own characters from Lord Of The Rings Online. Maybe something featuring my main character from Adventure Quest Worlds.

It was more "The English could kill anyone and everyone from the years 1300-1500, and anyone who disagrees can SUCK IT!" if you get my meaning. I'd just read a few novels about the Hundred Years War, and conveniently forgotten to study what happened in between Poitiers and Agincourt.
There's an element of truth to it, this was the time period when English Mercenaries were spread from Muscovy to Cordoba, but I just took it way too far.
Yeah, I'm kinda coming to terms with the idea that Fanfiction.net is not the greatest place ever. Once read a Bleach porno that freaked me the fuck out.
