Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Who says "dollars to donuts" anymore?
The Internet is strangely quiet tonight. :S It's almost oppressive.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Shhh the Internet is mourning on Twitter.
I thought you might have forgot the humor tag....
Hey, is it possible for me to poison a professor with ethylene glycol? What is the most accessible poison for an underage design student?
I'm just asking because of... reasons
I swear, I'm not going to commit any crime. I just want to know. I'm too harmless.

Every now and again, I wonder sometimes if Nintendo and their subsidiaries took notes from the Mother game series. There have been recent comparisons between Kirby Planet Robobot and Mother 3, due to the main plot of that game. Though the more common comparison is between Kirby Planet Robobot and Gurren Laggan, due to the mechas.
Perhaps the more reasonable comparison would be Mother and Pokemon. Both focus on Kid Heroes who go out into the world, and just so happened to grow up with their mother, and have a missing/unnamed/whatever father (with the exception of Ruby and Sapphire). They also deal with dark topics, though Pokemon is a little late to the trend, seeing as the dark topics started showing up in the main story starting with Gen 4 and 5. Both franchises deal with serious cases of Vile Villain, Saccharine Show too.
"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"Blatant plagiarism or work that you clearly ran out of time to finish partway through.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotI have a hard time buying when people say they don't care what someone else likes.
"People who like this thing are stupid and have inferior taste to me but it's totally fine with me if you like it."
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.I finally found that song from that Aerosmith roller coaster ride at Disneyworld! It's "Sweet Emotions"! I've been looking for that for three months!
I also got a car two months ago.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. Thanks to Randall Munroe, my new favorite equation is toaster > freezer.
I had the absolute worst idea for a You Tube video today:
All of The White Album played at once.

The White Album But All The Songs Are Played At Once
What's wrong with The White Album? I personally prefer Revolver and Abbey Road, but The White Album is alright.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I am literally never not thinking about reptilians.
And on that note, Reptilis Rex is so underrated, it hurts. I really wish it had caught on, because the author does a great job and deserves better.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?I like the White Album too (and I agree, Abbey Road and Revolver are the best), but it's just that all those songs in wildly different genres and styles being played together would either be amazing or horrible. And there'd be, like, a solid 4 minutes of Revolution 9 at the end because it's the longest.
Revolution 9 is fucking terrifying, I agree. I like the whole change of style on the album, but it's not for everyone. The debates over what songs are filler are legendary.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Revolution 9 is at the extreme limit of the same kind of musical experimentation that also got us Tomorrow Never Knows.

Fresh-eyed movie blogI suppose you can thank Yoko Ono's influence on John Lennon for that.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I want to see Jemaine Clement voice King K. Rool. I'm not sure what for, but I'm sure he would nail it.
He may be a giant, nightmarish brute, but like all villains in this series,he sure can sing.I have to say... I actually like Revolution 9. I like how weird and confusing it is. I like it's creativity and it always seems like there's some weird new sound everytime I hear it. (I swear there's a horn that sounds like it's from some kind of taco truck in it). I agree it's not everyone's cup of tea (and it took me a while to really like it), but I enjoy it, in the loosest sense of the word.
Discovered a Pokemon themed VN.
I'd bet dollars to donuts it'll get Screwed by the Lawyers.
