This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Two small changes which would greatly improve the look of the page:
1. Add a blank line before and after the horizontal rule.
2. Add a blank line followed by a horizontal rule to the end of the page.
Accidental mistakes are forgivable, intentional ones are not.

In Wikipedia, The Pedo Hunt entry needs to be re-written, if not completely removed. First, it's rather incoherent; second, it's not quite accurate. (Users who self-identify as pedophiles are indeed liable to be permanently blocked, but the main reason are the potential real-life consequences. For the same reason, a user may be permanently blocked for defamation or death threats, among other things. See the blocking policy.)
On an unrelated note, Media Wiki (in the Pot Hole entry) is not an article, so the word should be enclosed in [=/=] marks.

I am currently trying to get rid of red links to wallbanger, and replace them with the proper link to the Darth Wiki article.
Anyway there are 3 red links on Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch, and at least one in the Just Bugs Me of Metroid Other M

You're supposed to be deleting them, not replacing them. They're redlinked because we don't want them on the main wiki at all.

The Garbage Pail Kids Movie: Please change "After throwing Dodger in a sewer" in the intro to "After they throw Dodger in a sewer". As it stands, it's a dangling modifier and makes the sentence hard to understand.

Just do what Seltzer And Friedberg was done with. Currently, there's nothing wrong with that page. Remember, Permanent Red Link Club should be the last resort measure and used only when everything else has failed. Well, let's restore the page by having a simple description about the creator and list of works he directed for starters. That's rather neutral thing.
